My fiancé and I, complete beginners, started ballroom dancing lessons here a few months ago. The entire Arthur Murray Durham family has been exceptionally welcoming and supportive, and we adore our instructor for private lessons, Stas. While we are certainly still novice dancers, we have learned so much already in our time here and we are so excited to keep learning more at each lesson. If you are looking to try a few steps of ballroom dancing, I would highly recommend Arthur Murray. The friendly atmosphere, scheduling flexibility, and fantastic times to be had are everything you could hope for!

My husband and I started working with Stas this year in late March preparing for our wedding in early May. It was such an awesome experience and we've had so much fun that we've adopted dance as a new shared hobby. The whole team is beyond wonderful and we always look forward to our time here!

My husband and I came here for a date night and it was such a blast! We got to learn three dances (the Tango, the Bachata, and Swing) and the instructor made everything so fun and easy to follow. We were smiling all night long while we were on the dance floor, and it truly felt like one of the best nights out together. The atmosphere was welcoming, the music was great, and we left feeling like we’d not only learned some real moves but also made wonderful memories. Whether you’re a beginner or just looking for something different to do, this is the perfect spot. I wish we lived closer. We would definitely go back multiple times if we did. Highly recommend for couples, date nights, or anyone who just wants to have a good time while learning to dance! 💃🕺

We LOVE Arthur Murray Durham, our first dance was one of our favorite parts of our wedding! Maria was so accommodating when listening to what we wanted in a first dance. We didn’t have much experience with dance, so she took al of our ideas and turned them into a wonderful choreography that incorporated several dance styles, was fun to learn, and was exciting to watch (per our guest’s reviews!). With our busy schedules, Maria worked with us and gave us digestible choreography so that we had ample time to practice outside of our meetings, and also took diligent notes to make sure that we can pick up right where we left off. Special shoutout to Stas and Joel who helped finesse our dance to make it as special as it was!

My fiance and I took a series of classes at Arthur Murray to prepare a routine for our first dance at our wedding. We were blown away by how well they prepared us for our special day! Cameron, Maria, and Joel did a phenomenal job of helping us build the perfect routine and learn to dance it confidently! We were complete beginners coming into the classes, and they did a phenomenal job teaching us about the basics of dancing as well as more advanced techniques. We did private lessons this time, but we're hoping to attend their group sessions in the future! Heather at the front desk is also super friendly!
