First visit to Automotive Edge and a great experience. I brought my 2014 VW Jetta in for routine maintenance and to check a suspected fluid leak. The team was thorough, transparent, and didn’t push unnecessary repairs. They inspected the vehicle properly, clearly explained their findings, and even provided photos and videos from the inspection, which I really appreciated. Pricing was fair, communication was professional, and this is exactly the kind of honest, diagnostic-focused shop I was looking for. I plan to use them as my long-term service shop and highly recommend them.
I rarely review products or services online, but this time I feel it's important I do, as it may help other people that may find themselves in a similar situation. I have had this problem with my Subaru Outback for a long time, about 4-5 months after I bought it. A hesitation, usually on take off, not brutal but not pleasant. Went to several shops a few years back, nobody could figure it out. Local dealer took it for a spin and said it runs fine. Somehow it acted up less for several years, but this year(2025) it became unbearable, it would shake quite badly at times and became kind of dangerous to drive. Most mechanics I have talked to wouldn't even look at it, based on symptoms description. One shop took it in, replaced the ECU and made the problem way worse. Luckily Automotive Edge had agreed to look into it and Matt had pledged right at the beginning that no car leaves their shop unfixed. Well, they kept their word and got it fixed and kept the bill reasonable. I really appreciate Matt's efforts and I'm happy I've found the shop I could rely on! Front desk ladies were also very helpful and quick in addressing any issues. Great overall experience and excellent quality of work!
Mat, Becky and the rest of the staff, we want the thank you for such a great experience we had on our recent repairs on our tesla. They were very informative on the repairs that need to be done with detailed videos of service tech while diagnosing for repairs needed. They were in constant communication with regards to the estimate pricing and availability to finish repairs while giving me a curtiss vehicle for a week week while our car was in the shop. Once again, I want to send my thanks to the team of automotive edge for a job well done. we will be returning for more services in the near future and highly recommend this shop.
I had an exceptional experience at Automotive Edge in Kitchener, Ontario. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond. I dropped off my 2015 Lincoln MKX on a Friday after being told by another garage that parts were not available and OEM was back ordered. To my surprise, by Monday I received a detailed inspection report and a video clearly explaining the issues with my vehicle. The team not only told me it could be fixed, but also provided a clear estimate. I was honestly speechless and incredibly relieved. My wife and I hadn’t driven the car for over a month because it was unsafe, and in the meantime we were renting a vehicle and reluctantly shopping for a new one. Automotive Edge completely turned the situation around. They brought our Lincoln back to life, and it now runs beautifully. They even assured us that the car is in great shape and the engine is “bulletproof,” giving us confidence we’ll get a couple more years out of it. Thank you so much to the entire team at Automotive Edge for your honesty, professionalism, and skill and for fixing something another garage said they couldn’t even find parts for. These people and services are amazing they understand your situation and work with you to find the best affordable solution. Also understanding that my car is the most essential part of my work I need a safe running and driving vehicle. They got the work done and car returned to me by days end even stayed late to ensure my car was done and returned to me so I dad it to work that night. Absolutely 5 star review and will return when more work is needed
