I needed a battery programming/BMS reset after a replacement, they got me scheduled quickly, took care of it without any upselling, and had me in and out in about an hour. The cost was very reasonable, especially considering my type of car. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend them to anyone with a European car looking for a shop that actually knows what they’re doing.
They drew me in with mailers for great discounts on oil changes and kept me loyal with thorough, quality work and great customer service. Great reports of issues with your vehicle without pressure to address them. My most recent experience was going in because I hit something big in the road and heard squeaking after. They took a look and gave me their assessment at no cost since a frame puller was needed. Customer focused and friendly team of professionals. Definitely recommend 👍
This place is one of Tampa's hidden gems and I just wish I came across them sooner. I recently had some work done on my 2011 Subaru Outback, 205,000 miles and counting, including a timing belt replacement, water pump, and rear break replacements. Could not be happier with their advise on parts and the quality of work. Their staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and just great to work with. I highly recommend this place.
A little late on my review, but I have to say — this place is fantastic. On my way to work, my Subaru’s A/C compressor failed, which snapped the serpentine belt and caused coolant to spray everywhere. I turned to ChatGPT for help, and it led me straight to Auto Works of Tampa. And I’m glad it did — these guys are honest, straightforward, and genuinely helpful. Corey and Jessie were awesome and took great care of me. They had the work done quickly, too! After picking up my WRX, I wasn’t totally confident about the coolant level the next day. Since I had no way to get the car back to them, they actually came to pick it up themselves. They monitored it for most of the day and then delivered it back to me once they confirmed everything was running perfectly. They stand behind their work with a solid warranty, which gives me a ton of peace of mind. Truly a 5-star shop with 5-star service. I’ll be bringing all my vehicles here from now on. Highly recommend!
Very great business and super welcoming staff with a variety of services. Kyle is our service manager and he goes above and beyond. I would definitely recommend them to anyone . My daughter has an older VW Beetle and they have bent over backwards to find parts and figure out whatever has been wrong with car. Always gets it up and running, with usually same day to 1 day turn around. We will never take to the dealership again!
