Don Armamdo is súper nice! I brought him a monitor that I thought was no good but it turned out to be my computer settings. He was kind enough to take a look at it and didn't try and tell me something was wrong. Which he easily could have. Businesses like these are very rare. Thank you Don Armando for being an honest business owner. I will make sure to send everyone that I know to you.
The best repair shops I have ever known! The service is incredible and absolutely the most welcoming. Very professional and friendly services. Michael is the life saver! Absolutely recommend anyone this place for repairs!! Saved me so many times!
I needed to buy some earphones and thankfully they had them. It’s clean and convenient, they have everything. I needed the Apple earphones type C, and they had it. Plus, they do free screen protectors for LACC students, which helps alot. 5/5, really good store.
AVS Computer & Phone Repair is conveniently located on the east side of Vermont blvd, just north of Santa Monica. Not being particularly tech savvy, I have come in often to ask dozens of questions. They’re also very reasonable with their prices and will at least try to work within your budget. The gentlemen, who I believe owns the store, is always very patient and helpful. I went in today to take advantage of a promotion they’re having; Free Screen Protectors for LACC students. After showing my student I.d, Michael quickly installed my new screen protector. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes.
This place is like a big box electronic store in an unlikely neighborhood. You get the genuinely warm and friendly service of a neighborhood store, plus the technical proficiency of a corporate-trained "geek squad" but none of their arrogant swagger or contemptuous impatience (so often on full display in front of hapless, help-desk-seeking customers trapped in the technological equivalent of the late Triassic.) In four words, I love this place. Or simply... ⭐⭐⭐⭐1/2.
