Working with Michael was a pleasure. Very engaged and helpful. His showroom was honestly the best I saw in my search for a flooring company. He was very patient during my selection, and had good advice. My new floor looks fantastic.
I am very happy with the flooring job that Baila did. Michael was very easy to work with. Marco the installer did a perfect job of moving things around and installing the floor. I would definitely recommend Baila for your flooring needs. I was especially happy to use this local company as opposed to the corporate flooring companies.
I wish my all my other dealings with contractor professionals worked this well. Michael and his team are great to work with: great communication, punctual, attention to detail and quality, do what they say they will do, no drama, easy and pleasant to deal with, good price, great work and no surprises. The job involved replacing the floor tile in a half bath with a composite wood floor (I think that's what you call it). They seamlessly lined the pattern and height up with the boardering floor. It looks great! I will definitely use Michael and team in other projects.
Working with Baila Floors, specifically with Michael Pinnock and his team, was a great experience. Michael was responsive to our needs and the installation was beautiful. A terrific company and some very nice individuals to meet and have working in our office.
I shopped around for flooring, originally on a mission to get vinyl plank for a major house addition, and through that process, I learned that what mattered to me most was was service, knowledge, and support, and most stores just didn't measure up in this regard. But Baila was different. It was clear to me that Michael cared about the products on offer, stocked good brands he stands behind, and was willing to steer me away from brands that were showing consistent problems with installation. After a couple of visits to look at the waterproof (vinyl) flooring (all very nice), I decided that putting plastic floors down in my old house was not going to make me -- or the environment -- happy long term, so I switched gears and visited the store a couple more times to look at the engineered hardwood. When it came time to make a decision, Michael coached me through narrowing the choices, sent me home with five samples, and gave me what felt like a great deal on my final choice. Bonus: arrive after 3PM on a Friday for an eye-opening display of Oakland's finest street walkers!
