We had an amazing two-day wine tour in Valle de Guadalupe with my family! This was our second tour with Mario, whose deep knowledge of the region’s wineries and restaurants made the experience even more special. The convenience of round-trip pickup and drop-off in San Diego made the trip effortless. Mario curated a perfect balance of intimate boutique wineries and well-known larger establishments. We especially loved discovering the smaller, hidden-gem wineries that you might not easily find online. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we can’t wait for our next Valle adventure!

This was my second experience—my girlfriend had gone on a trip with him before and raved about it, so we decided to go again together. And wow, it did not disappoint. Mario is everything you'd want in a guide: incredibly knowledgeable about the region, kind, professional, and just a genuinely great person to spend the day with. He kept us on track without ever rushing us, and we always felt safe, comfortable, and totally taken care of. His attention to detail and reliability made it a seamless experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back again—and won’t consider going with anyone else. Highly recommend.
Our 3-day, 2-night trip to Valle de Guadalupe with Mario from Baja California Wine Tours was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, Mario was an amazing guide—knowledgeable, personable, and always ensuring we had the best time. We visited 5 incredible wineries and tasted over 10 amazing wines that perfectly showcased the region's diverse offerings. Each day, Mario arranged fantastic lunches with delicious bites that complemented the wines perfectly. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the entire trip felt so immersive. If you’re looking for a unique wine tour experience in Baja, Mario and his tours are a must! Highly recommended!
We had the BEST tour of Valle de Guadalupe and Baja with our guide, Mario. Our group loved the informative (and scenic!) drive down to the Valle. We did the day tour and stopped at 3 wineries (Baron Balche, Decantos, and Casa Magoni). We also had an INCREDIBLE lunch at Finca Altozano. Each stop was unique, we received great service from everyone, and we all loved the wines we got to taste. The different scenery and views from each winery and stop along the way was beautiful...plus, we loved all the winery 'dogs' that came by to say hello. We had plenty of wine, with opportunities to order other drinks and snacks if anyone wanted to. The wines we had at each winery were delicious, plus the cheeseboard and lunch we had were so yummy, fresh, and either made locally or tied in with the local offerings. It was so convenient having a designated driver who knew the area and made crossing the border easy. We felt completely safe and taken care of the entire time. 10/10 would go back on another tour to Valle - next time we would love to spend a few nights! Plus, our guide Mario, offers other tours around MX. Thank you so much for the beautiful day, Baja California Wine Tours.
