Was here last weekend on a girls trip. Great selection of wine. I did a white wine flight and there were several that I would drink or get a bottle of. The view is beautiful of the rolling hills surrounding Baraboo, and the patio with live music was wonderful. Also get the pretzel with the habenero bacon jam. Yummy!

This was our first time at Balanced Rock Winery and I have to say, we were very impressed! The winery/bar was very clean and well staffed and a perfect decor for the setting. The wine menu was very good and the flights are well worth and a nice change from just a standard tasting. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful and very friendly. We enjoyed the wine and the wine slushy was very good as well, especially on a 90 degrees day. We tried the Rocky Sticks, which was like a pizza frie and was excellent I must say, very impressed and the pulled pork nachos were also very good! Prices were fair and you felt like you got your money's worth. They have a wonderful outdoor seating area that is rather large with a good amount of shade on the hot summer days! Also complimentary water inside and out is a nice touch! The live music, Wonder Lust, was superb and we enjoyed it will sipping the slushes. Overall a great experience and we are looking forward to our next visit and anxious to try other wines and cocktails along with the variety of food options. If your in, around or coming through the Baraboo, Wisconsin area, please give Balamced Rock at try, highly recommend!!

I came here with my mom and it was just the perfect setting! They had live music and it was a great vibe in the shade on the patio. The menu looks really good for a winery. We just had the pretzel and chips and salsa. The pretzel is huge and very soft/fluffy! I got a flight of the Seyval, Edelweiss, La Crescent, Frontenac Gris. That went from driest to sweetest and the Edelweiss was my favorite of them. My mom got the sweet cranberry and really enjoyed it. A really great atmosphere! Very glad we stopped during my trip from out of town and would definitely come back!

This is a cute little winery with lots of outdoor areas. I only tried one wine but it was good (not world class or anything) it was pretty busy the day I was there otherwise I would have asked more questions and gotten more information about the wines. Seems like a place I would enjoy going back to! Beautiful scenery as well.
