I went there for the first time and it was good but I left the bartender CASH TIP not a tip thru my card , so why did the bartender tip themselves the same price as the ONE drink I bought ?? How convenient on a Sunday night where I can’t complain til Thursday because you all don’t open mon-Wednesday. (I went there on a Friday)
Just got assaulted by a car with multiple assailants who got out and Security did not do the due diligence to respond. A group was driving very aggressively and went to back into a spot without signaling in front of me. They had gotten there before and we’re having trouble parking. I passed them safely and shined my bright lights at then. That’s when I had them pull up to my right and 2-3 men got our screaming at me with their Versace shirts. They started punching the car all over with one trying to open the door which is when I drove off. I went around and asked for security which is when Bastion supervisor called Garza along with other 2 other guys (one in Bastion uniform who shined his light and did not wish to identify because “I already told you my name sir” was his response to each time I asked. I lost out on my food, got assaulted and came back to report it, got threatened by the security staff to the point point where I placed a complaint with their HR department. I had to place a police report and will not allow entitled people get above all else. My main concern is that, I call to Golondrina, Bar Nido only to find out they’re not working numbers. 🤷🏻♂️ what am I to do when I get attacked just getting food? I’m disappointed in the appointed security Supervisor identified as Garza because he had no tactfulness or due diligence to handle a situation such as presented. Terrible representation of leadership and showmanship which I’ve come to respect across the years thru the company and members he represents. I commend and Love Bastion but this person was not a true representative of what they stand for. All in all, terrible experience based on the decisions made by the patron and security supervisor that felt he was in the right. Thank you.
Drinks are good. Came and chilled out with friends and played some board games. Can get loud and crowded at times. Not too bad. It’s mostly outdoors
Be prepared to experience rude and long waits if you are not a regular. Bartenders will allow their friends to cut the massive line and happily do it. If your just, stopping by you will receive rude service and be scolded. The unprofessional is absurd. They also have a $20 minimum to use your card. If you don’t know that already the bartenders will make backhanded side comments.
J’adore cet endroit !!! Je viens de tester l’ouverture en douceur et c’était au top. Il n’y a vraiment rien d’autre de ce genre à Laredo. Le service et l’ambiance sont au top. Si vous cherchez un endroit sympa pour prendre un verre et bien manger, jetez un coup d’œil à cet endroit. Je compte vraiment revenir souvent dans ce bar !!!
