I’ve been bringing my dog to Bark Avenue for years and have generally had good experiences. Noellie usually grooms him and always does an excellent job — his haircut is even and he comes home smelling fresh. Late last year another groomer cut his hair and it was very uneven, so I specifically requested that Noellie continue grooming him. My account was noted with that request. However, when my mom picked him up today his haircut looked choppy again and he didn’t smell freshly groomed like he normally does. When I called the business, I was told the same groomer who did the poor cut previously was the one who groomed him today. Everyone there is usually friendly and the service has been good overall, but I’m disappointed that my request was not followed. I work hard for my money and expect the service I pay for to be done with care. I’ll be driving back to OKC in a few days to have his haircut corrected. I hate to put him through another appointment so soon because he doesn’t like getting his hair done, but I can’t have my baby looking so shabby. Update: the owner reached out to me to make things right, so I took my baby back on Tuesday where he personally got him fixed up. My baby looks like his normal precious self again- I am content. I take my pooch here because I feel comfortable leaving him and I will continue to do so.
