This is where our 4 legged child goes. He enjoys his time there, and gets excited when he knows we are close. Great staff. Nice grounds and interior for him to enjoy.
We just survived our first vacation away from Cooper, our golden doodle, all though I’m not sure who had more separation anxiety-him or me! He is usually glued to us, so I was super nervous. We took him to Barkaritaville in corpus on a friend’s recommendation, and I am so glad we did! The first couple of days were rough-he was scared and didn’t want anyone near him. But Danielle, one of the staff, worked hard to earn his trust and by mid week he was so much more relaxed they even managed to give him the haircut we’d scheduled. HUGE thank you to Danielle and the team for loving on our boy like he was their own.I also really appreciate the updates when we called to check in, they really calmed my nerves. We will 100% be bringing him back for more spa days and vacations!
For a fantastic dog resort experience, look no further! The staff here are exceptionally courteous and professional. As first-time visitors, we were thoroughly impressed and will absolutely be returning. They kept us well-informed about our dog's demeanor while she was there. While I suspect she stayed up most of the time due to the new environment, her wagging tail at pickup showed she had a great time!
**DOODLE OWNERS** I have been taking my Irish doodle to get grooms here with Pahola since he was a little puppy. He is now 3 years old and I have not been able to find anyone that exceeds my expectations like she does with his full groom hair cuts. I live over two hours away and still manage for him to come to corpus to get his hair done with her if that tells you anything!! I am very particular and obviously want my dog treated right and I know when I drop him off with her, he is in the right hands and I’m worry free. She shows tucker the extra care and gentleness all animals deserve leaving him with a very handsome hair cut! I can’t recommend this place enough to trust with your fur babies!!
We took our 14 month old lab mixed Maggie to Barkaritaville for her meet & greet. She did great & was so excited when I picked her up. We got good news she did great with socializing with the other dogs. So we have made the arrangements to board her next weekend. The staff are all amazing greeting you with smiles & friendly with the dogs. Looking forward to future adventures for Maggie to enjoy.
