My grandson absolutely loves the kid area and stage. I love that I can find my favorite books and sip coffee 🤣. The service was friendly and the line moved quickly, even though there were crowds of ppl and only two cashiers 🥰. If you haven't been there lately, go visit.
Convenient with a good supply of excellent bargain books, my only complaint are the homeless ppl who LIVE in the store. They park their bikes/carts all over the sidewalk and gather in one particular corner of the store to beg.
I mean it's a great book store. idk what's going on with this being in the men's room but someone (not me) might accidentally tinkle on this puppy, then it can't go back to the café, i don't want tinkle signs in the café, not at my Barnes of Noble!
My sons are Both PhD students and we all visit Barnes and Nobles at GREENBRIAR to purchase books, Lego’s and /or eat in the cafeteria! As a retired educator , we have frequented Barnes and Nobles for years !! Whenever we checkout we are ALWAYS asked if we are Barnes and Nobles member, HOWEVER this one white older lady in the upper 60s, had on numerous occasions NEVER asked us if we are Barnes and Nobles members and She’s NEVER FRIENDLY!! We always feel stereotyped and discriminated against whenever she’s the cashier !! Her behavior is totally unacceptable!!!
Overall I have always liked this Barnes and Noble. It is always very clean and organized. It’s always been easy to find the things I am looking for. Plus, there are so many varieties of things to buy. There are not only books, but journals, pens/markers, toys, music, fun little trinkets and other things. I would say this is a great place to find a fun little gift for someone and also great to find stocking stuffers at Christmas time. My biggest issue with Barnes and Noble is how ridiculously expensive it is. Often times I can find the same things elsewhere for much cheaper. Not everything seems unreasonable, but most of it is to me. I rarely shop here because of that reason. We definitely don’t have the money to spend on such expensive items. There is a Starbucks here and it is a great place to get some work done or meet up for coffee with a friend. I love that you don’t have to buy anything from Barnes and noble to eat here. Also, the staff has always been very friendly.
