I recommend Bartolme & Associates with no reservations. Dave is not only a thorough, meticulous, and diligent CPA, he is kind, thoughtful, and a skilled educator. His bookkeeper Carly was also very friendly, responsive, and communicative. I plan to continue working with David and his staff for all my accounting needs. UPDATE: I wrote the review above 4 years ago and have worked with David every year on my taxes and financial planning since. Everything I said about his guidance and services 4 years ago is just as true today as it was then.
David has been my accountant for a decade and I have only positive things to say about him. He always ask the right questions in an effort to both save me money and make sure I'm in compliance with the state and IRS. He's also a super nice person and very easy to work with. I highly recommend his services.
David and his team are fantastic. I moved to Portland about a year ago and struggled to understand the numerous county taxes. David met with me, provided guidance, completed quarterly estimates and finalized my year-end filing. He uses plain language so I can understand, gives advice, is highly organized and ensures high quality controls. He is absolutely one of the best CPAs I've worked with from across the country.
