Logan at the BATL Axe Charlotte Plaza location was top tier. From the moment we walked in, he set the tone and made the whole experience fun, safe, and welcoming. He explained everything clearly, took his time with everyone, and had the perfect balance of coaching and hype. If you’ve ever been nervous about throwing an axe, Logan is the kind of host that makes you feel confident real quick. He kept the energy high, made sure everyone was engaged, and genuinely seemed like he wanted us to have a great time. If you’re going to BATL Charlotte Plaza, ask for Logan. He understood the assignment and executed it well.
Callie & Brandon were the absolute BEST. As a first time axe, knives, ninja star thrower they helped build confidence and make the entire experience fun and exciting. You can really tell they love what they do! 10/10 will be back because of them! Archery was also fun but I will say not as exciting as the throwing.
So much fun. Otto and Logan were great teachers and super patient. Everyone in the group was able to find success at something tonight 10 out of 10!
I went with a group of 4 friends and we had a blast! Jimmy and Logan were our coaches and they are so friendly and supportive! They are also great when you need a judge for a close tie breaker 🤣
Jimmy was an amazing host/coach for our group, went over the safety stuff efficiently and then helped all of us with positioning on where to stand so we could land our throws. Even explained the 'why' on why to stand in specific spots so we understood. We did the pick 3 event, so including archery, and he showed us how the games worked so we could have a blast with that as well. Amazing host, we had a great time. It was our first time here and we will absolutely be back. Also, the donut cider is absolutely wonderful, if its on tap when you visit you need to try it.
