Jay was super helpful and patient as a buyer’s agent. He really tried to take the time to understand what we were looking for and never made us feel rushed or pressured as well as always looking in the interest of the buyer. Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful and reliable agent.
I didn’t know a real estate agent in NYC, so I did what one does and called most the numbers from Google. Jay answered really fast and he was communicative. He got back to us at the times he said he would, which I can’t say of any other real estate groups I called. Alexia was assigned to be our agent, and she has been amazing. She is patient and kind and showed us or attempted to show us all the houses on our list on very short notice. The reason why she didn’t show us all the houses was because the sellers real estate agents weren’t calling her back, so no complaints here. She answered our texts, calls and emails really fast. She is really knowledgeable and she fought for us to get the most out of the sale. She really went above and beyond. I really can’t sing her praises high enough. It won’t make her justice. I recommend 100%.
Highly recommend! I recently moved to NYC and worked with Alexia Duquin to find an apartment. The experience was fantastic. Alexia was professional, warm, and patient—an excellent partner in the search for my new home. In the end, I found an apartment that I absolutely love, exceeding my expectations of what I thought I could find in the city. Initially, I tried searching on my own, but most of the apartments I viewed didn’t quite meet my needs. Alexia completely turned that around. She organized a packed first day of viewings, all of which offered great options. After providing feedback on what I liked and didn’t like, she fine-tuned the search even further, eventually finding my perfect apartment. Despite an unusual income situation, Alexia worked closely with landlords to ensure there were no issues during the lease application process. Amazingly, within a week of arriving in NYC, I was already moved in! I would highly recommend working with Alexia. Finding an apartment in NYC, especially for the first time, can be overwhelming, but she made the entire process easy and enjoyable.
Jay is a wonderful guy. He helped me secure a beautiful apartment. I’m a little picky, so this is the first and only apartment I liked out of many that I saw. He’s very responsive and helped me through the entire process. When the landlord asked for a recommendation, Jay knew I really wanted this apartment and advocated for me. It’s also a rent stabilized unit, I feel so lucky. I highly recommend working with Batra Group. Thanks again!
I am very grateful to have worked with Alexia to find my first apartment in NYC! As an international student, I had a lot of restrictions around paperwork and Alexia understood all my requirements for the apartment instantly. Her turnaround time was truly incredible as she coordinated a full day of apartment showings in less than 24 hours—all wonderful and in great neighbourhoods. Alexia is extremely attentive, supportive, and overall a wonderful person to work with. Finalizing on a place was a quick and seamless process and I was moved into my apartment within a week.
