I don’t really write google reviews, but the continuing decline of this place has warrented this. I have been a regular of this place for a very long time, and there used to be enough redeeming factors to outweigh the bad. Those redeeming factors are vanishing. Not even counting the serious missteps in the handling of the closing of the other location, Battle and Brew has so many problems. The quality of the kitchen has been declining for years, this latest menu update has been especially disappointing. I have a pretty common dietary restriction, and now there are very few menus items that I can eat, and even fewer that I want to eat. I used to not have this problem eating here, but it seems in attempts to cut costs, Battle and Brew is willing to sacrifice even fan favorite menu items. Additionally, they have been out of a key ingredient for almost half of their spirit free drinks for months. Special events used to have specialty drinks and menus items, which was always really fun and popular with regulars, but it’s been a really long time since those were offered. Battle and Brew also does not maintain an inviting environment for patrons. Practically the whole place is carpeted and the carpet is super gross. I have had to actively dissuade some of my friends who weren’t already regulars not to have brunch here, because although a board game brunch could have been fun, I knew that they would have been utterly disgusted by the state of the restaurant. The women’s bathroom is beyond disgusting. I really want to keep coming, and keep enjoying myself, but Battle and Brew themselves are increasingly making that a challenge.
Dining at Battle & Brew was an absolute blast and Our server David was amazing! He was friendly, fast, and genuinely made our night. His energy and attention to detail turned great food and games into an awesome experience. We’ll definitely be back to see him again!
This place is pretty cool. They have a good variety of co-op games available for the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and PC at reasonable prices. They even have a few old arcade games (they should have more of these IMO). They also have board games. While the games and environment was fun, the food was rather plain and only served to keep away hunger while gaming rather than being noteworthy.
Fantastic atmosphere for the trivia night! We enjoyed a lot. Food is decent (note: bibimbap Not authentic at all. Carrots and cucumbers were so sour that they were inedible). I'm an Asian. I heard burgers are safe choices.
First time here to meet up some friends and it was a great time. We were having fun and got a package deal with food and drinks and the food was pretty good! I didn’t get to take pictures of those but it’s plenty! Came with two pizzas, chicken tenders, a big plate of nachos loaded and hummus and dip with some veggies, plus pitchers of drinks. There were about 11 of us. So, this place is great for small or large groups! Great for dates, and/or hangouts. They have all sorts of games; board games, variety of video games, you name it. I love the ambiance, it’s every gamers dream come true. It’s super quirky too; their restroom is a police box. I would love to come back if time permits. Till then, let’s game!
