Forest is an amazing instructor. She is super calm, funny and teaches you a lot especially small details!! I passed my test at the Santa Clara DMV road test first time thanks to her. Throughout my lessons she’s been getting me a lot calmer and much more confident in driving. Thank you Forest!!

Awesome Experience with Bay Area Driving Academy!! They serve an extensive part of both the North and South Bay Area. It’s an easy place and website with which to schedule, have prompt pickup/return time, and are very professional, friendly. Family owned and operated for many years, Carrie is awesome!! My daughter drove with Instructor Steven and absolutely enjoyed her experience, too. Cannot speak highly enough of Bay Area Driving Academy!!

I just moved to the bay area and wanted some assistance getting my driver's license. I booked the international relocation and test day packages — this was exactly what I needed. My instructor, David, was very helpful and friendly. I learned everything that I needed to pass my driving test, as well as learning how to drive safely on US roads, and had fun along the way. I highly recommend Bay Area Driving Academy for anyone looking for lessons and assistance with the DMV.

This was my first driving lesson with them. I paid and booked the class online. My appointment was from 8.30 AM and I waited in the pick up location from 8.20 till 8.40 and then left. At 8.50, my instructer (unknown number) called and said he is there now and was stuck in traffic. I understand that but I should have had that information from before 8.30 that my instructor will be late. For working professionals, it is extremely difficult to find time. When you have set out time for a driving class, you expect them to be on time or at least let you know beforehand about the delay. I have already paid the money and would like a refund as I cannot work with people who cant respect another person's time. Changing from 1 star to 3 star. They apologised and also offered me 20% discount, however I just decided to take the refund. They refunded me without any issues. The academy may be good, but the driving instructors should let you know when they are late. I dont believe there were technical difficulties/no reception to contact me. They might be great as instructors, but that still doesn't make up for the fact that they were late and didn't give any notice.

Very professional driving school with clear processes. Forest is such an amazing trainer! I had taken 1 lesson from her last year and when I wanted to take 5 more learning sessions this year, I specifically looked for her availability and booked 5 sessions for 2 months later when she had slots available, and it paid off! Got my license! Forest is a great teacher. She observes the student's driving style and gives very pointed feedback, which really helps a lot in building your confidence. Also she's very calm and composed no matter how you are driving. Has a great ability to tell you your mistake and how to work on it while not making you feel like you are a bad driver. She also let me drive in hilly areas and at very high speed on the freeway. These things really helped me gain a lot of confidence. Will 100% recommend Forest to anyone who wants to learn driving. P.S. I wasn't just learning how to drive in the states, but was learning how to drive from scratch. So if I could do it, you can too.
