Never before had we experienced the joy of gliding along on an E-Bike, and we’re so glad we chose Bay City Bike Tours for our first ride! The set-up was friendly, simple, and we were on our way in no time. It was a little wet at times (classic San Francisco – always have your coat handy!), but our guide Ryan Coats made it such a fun and entertaining experience. He led us along the promenade, across the Golden Gate Bridge, and through local neighbourhoods where we admired the city’s incredible architecture and some festive Halloween decorations – from giant skeletons to vast spider webs! Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge was an unforgettable highlight, with amazing views and fascinating stories from Ryan, who clearly knows the area well. We finished in Sausalito, where we had the rest of the day to explore at our own pace before returning the bikes at 7:30 pm. If you’re visiting San Francisco, this is an absolute must-do activity. Rewarding adventure with beautiful sights, and an unbeatable way to see the city!
We had an amazing experience with Bay City Bikes! We got to see so much of San Francisco and rode across the Golden Gate Bridge, which was unforgettable. Our tour guide, Ryan, was fantastic—super knowledgeable, personable, and fun. He made the whole ride enjoyable and was so encouraging and patient with my mom, who was really nervous about crossing the bridge. Thanks to him, she felt confident and had a great time. The electric bikes worked perfectly and made the ride so much easier. We’re so glad we chose Bay City Bikes and would highly recommend them!
I had had a fantastic bike tour with Ryan today! His guidance, knowledge of the area, and passion shone through as we learned about the history of SF and the local history as well. He gave lots of recommendations of things to do and see following the tour, and I really appreciated the guidance. Ryan was a knowledgeable and engaging guide and I can’t recommend this tour enough, it’s a great way to see San Francisco and learn a lot!
Hello everybody, on the 22th of may we had a tour with Adam through the city of San Fransisco. He was a very nice and well informed guide. For starters he was very concerned about our safety. Learning that we came from the Netherlands was a big relief. He showed us around and told a lot of stories along the way. We had lunch at Spark Social where we found different foodtrucks. After lunch we went on and eventually we said goodbye near the Golden Gate bridge. He was so kind to swap the battery of my bike with his because it was almost empty. All and all thank you very much Adam for a beautiful tour through your San Fransisco.
Just back from our bike tour through San Francisco and of course over the golden gate bridge. We had good solid bikes and were very lucky to have Ryan as our guide. He told us a lot about the city and history and, most important, we had a lot of fun as well!! A great sunny day it was!
