I was booked with Star. I sent her what I wanted and she said okay. She cancelled our first session because she was sick which was fine. We rebooked. As I am driving to the second appointment, she messages me telling me she doesn’t think she can do the tattoo and if I had other ideas. I pulled over and we ended up calling and discussing the tattoo. She said she would send me the deposit back due to her not being able to complete it. I ended up messaging her later that day saying I would alter the tattoo and if we could rebook. She did not answer for 2 days. I reached out again asking if she could at least send back the deposit. She messaged back saying she was not going to send it back. She wasted 2 of my Saturday’s and told me she would send my money back but decided not to? Would not recommend Star at all. If anyone wants more details, I’d be happy to share!
What an expensive tattoo!! I got this tattoo at the tattoo expo in Calgary. I should have confirmed the price before doing it. I inquired about a different piece which was 4 times bigger and cost around $350. Greyden @ northAsher showed me this design and I liked it. It was supposed to be on my forearm with all the shading for the sky and clouds. I ended up putting it on my lower calf and asked not to do all the sky and shading. To my surprise, he wanted $400+GST for such a small tattoo That’s the most expensive tattoo I have ever had. I would highly recommend confirming the price for the tattoo before doing so. In fact I had 2 other tattoos done by a different artist which were 4 times bigger and costed me less altogether . The whole experience doesn’t make sense. I regret having it done at such a high cost!
Gray (northasher) is an amazing artist and has and still is the artist I now go to for any work I need done. Super chill, super professional and Great at what he does. 10/10 Recommend him or even anyone at the shop as they are very talented. Super dope place to get tatted
Wonderful experience. I’ve gotten tattoos by Liv, and Wave and they are both fantastic. From booking to the finished tattoo the whole process was easy. Would definitely go back again.
First of all the decor was immaculate and felt warm and welcoming. I set up an appointment with NorthAsher as I saw his line work and detailing was absolutely stunning! I needed a cover up done and created into something very meaningful to me. Thank you Gray for making my dream come to life. 12/10 would recommend to anyone… first or last tattoo, he is well worth it! Can’t wait for my next one!
