Genuinely super Impressed by the quality of food here. Service was excellent. Ambience was pleasant. The cherry on cake was the food. Delightful, yummy, sufficient and I felt Innovative in the taste. I tried the Scampi Picante and it was❤️❤️❤️😍😍. Cozy restaurants like this always surprise me. I am definitely visiting again! I wish them good luck as well!!!
Had an absolutely great dinner. Lasagna was perfect for us splitting the bread was great and Shaun was awesome!!! We love this place now that we know they have lots of wine options., we love it even more.. and the lasagna is delicious ( talking to text and my significant other wanted to add his input so that’s how good it was. We’re saying it twice.!!!)
Absolutely outstanding. The Dimari pasta delivered an extraordinary ocean-fresh flavor truly an 11 out of 10. The lobster ravioli were rich, delicate, and unforgettable. Our server, whose name we unfortunately didn’t get, was incredibly attentive and gentle the entire time, which made the experience even better. A memorable Italian dinner from start to finish.
I celebrated my birthday at Bellissima and overall had a great experience. The surf and twist spaghetti my wife ordered was spectacular - possibly one of the best pastas we've had in Austin. The aroma of caramelized lemon with butter coming from the kitchen was incredible, and that flavor was perfectly reflected in the dish. The sun-dried tomatoes added an extraordinary depth of flavor. On my end, the Salmon Florentine was decent but lacked flavor - it didn't reach the level I would expect. The tiramisu was very good (and we appreciated the courtesy for my birthday), though it took over 10 minutes to arrive with the restaurant nearly empty. The atmosphere was beautiful - very welcoming, clean, and pleasant. It smelled fresh and looked lovely, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine. We noticed people dressed casually, which made it feel comfortable and approachable. A couple of areas for improvement: the service was somewhat lacking - we had to wait quite a bit on several occasions to get attended to. And I was surprised that they don't offer espresso. Despite these details, we would definitely return to try other pastas, especially after how incredible my wife's dish was.
Great locally owned Italian restaurant. I have been twice and loved it both times. There's usually live music on Friday nights, if you're interested. The lasagna is to die for. Request an add-on of bolognese sauce poured over the top for a small upcharge. It makes it extra meaty and rich. The lasagna is a very generous portion. Only ate half of it and brought the rest home. The penne with spicy sausage is also really yummy. It has a creamy tomato sauce. Also a very large portion. Easy parking. Definitely recommend making a reservation if going at prime time Fri, Sat, Sun. Enjoy!
