Best Choice Automotive was recommended to me by FasTech tire centre at 4726 97 St. a company I’ve dealt with for 20 years. My 2012 Mazda 3 had a transmission failure just before Christmas. Best Choice had booked their days off already but agreed to keep the car inside over their break and get to it when they were back. They were true to their word and within a day, called and told me my best options. They had me back on the road a week later. The cost was less than the estimate and the car was running great. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had with car repairs for a very long time. It isn’t always easy to find reputable mechanics who work on older cars but these guys were great.
I had originally taken my vehicle to the dealership to have the alternator replaced. I knew the alternator was the issue as I had had AMA out to test. After telling me that they had to run a number of diagnostics tests (which I declined) they tested only the alternator and confirmed that I required a new one. They also quoted nearly $10,000 in necessary maintenance,. I decided to get a second opinion. After doing some research, and reading online reviews, I called Best Choice and spoke with Denzel. He was incredibly patient, answered all of my questions and arranged to have my vehicle in the very next day. My vehicle was inspected and found that almost none of the work recommended by the dealership was required. The work was done within my required timelines, they were incredibly responsive and kept me informed of what was happening. They serviced my vehicle months ago and it has been driving like a dream since. I highly recommend best choice and have referred friends and colleagues there with zero hesitation.
Excellent Service! I recently replaced my car’s winter tyres and requested extra care since it’s a brand-new vehicle — I asked them not to scratch the wheels while changing the tyres. They did an amazing job! The service was professional, careful, and efficient. Everything was done perfectly with great attention to detail. Highly recommend their automotive service for anyone who wants quality work and respect for your vehicle.
Best Choice Auto did a great job on our 2012 Murano Platinum SUV. We needed a complete maintenance service check and they went through everything, identifying that things looked good while letting us know what we may need to replace in the Spring. We first went to them last year when we moved to Edmonton and needed a vehicle inspection. They were honest and accountable, which was what we were looking for. We will be taking our car back there with no hesitation!
Easy to see why this shop has such good reviews. Denzel and Josh seem like really good guys and took an interest in my vehicle. I was put off by some of the sales tactics from my dealership and wanted to try this shop as recommended by my Dad. I've had my cars held at dealerships for full days before for just an oil change and was able to get my vehicle done here in a matter of a few hours on what seemed to be a pretty busy day. Also felt like they appreciate you as a person, not just a customer even though I understand they do have a business to run. Great first impressions and I will continue to take my vehicle here in the future. 2023 Kona N serviced.
