Beyond Grandma's House Vintage LLC est un magasin de cadeaux et d'articles ménagers vintage de 8 000 pieds carrés, situé dans le quartier Hermosa de Chicago, installé dans une ancienne usine de réglisse. Les visiteurs explorent une vaste collection d'antiquités — du mobilier du milieu du siècle et des machines à coudre jusqu'aux appareils photo, disques et porcelaines — et ont l'impression d'entrer dans un livre d'histoires. Un personnel chaleureux, dont Grandpa Bob et Grandma, partage des histoires et propose du café et des biscuits offerts les week-ends.

Amazing experience. Grandpa Bob was wonderful. They have a very beautiful collection of all things vintage from furniture to clothes to China and glassware etc. will definitely be back!
A really fun place to wander for a few hours; they have a fascinating collection of antiques that you don’t often see at other antique stores! They had some filing cabinets of interesting ephemera, tons of beautiful furniture, sewing machines, and even metal rollers from an old candy factory. Come for a few thousand square feet of antiques, stay for the sweet and helpful staff that make it even more fun :)
10/10!! Such a cool experience, some of the sweetest employees that are willing to help you find just what you need and educate you on the history of the items you are purchasing. Was able to learn about the history of Chicago film and see how old fashion movies were made. And free cookies and coffee!! Could spend hours here. Grandpa Bob and Grandma were very sweet, will be coming again ‼️

Every corner seems to whisper a different era, from mid-century furniture and vintage cameras to classic records and retro dishware that spark a sense of déjà vu. It's less a store and more a living museum, one where you can touch, browse and buy the artifacts of nostalgia. What makes Beyond Grandma's House special, though, isn't just its vast collection, it's the experience. On weekends, complimentary coffee and snacks turn the space into a cozy social hub. The owners greet you like old friends, eager to share the backstories behind their finds. With so much to see, it can be easy to lose track of time (and maybe your budget). Come prepared to stay a while.
We had such a fun time exploring Beyond Grandma’s House of Vintage. Grandpa Bob was so welcoming and attentive. He made us feel like regulars even though we were first-timers. The variety and quality of the collection is good, especially if you appreciate well made furniture, and classical philology and literature. We will be back!
