If you’re a tourist looking to thrift, this is the only place you need to stop. So many varieties, great quality, and the best prices of all the other vintage places I’ve been in London. :)
If you are looking for a good vintage spot in London, this is it. It is very well organized, the staff are helpful, and the overall atmosphere is amazing (great music). It is easy to spend a couple hours sifting through clothes. If you need another reason to visit, they have daily deals on different items (on the day I went, all green tags were 75% off). On top of that, the store is located right by the tube station!! Totally stop in if you’re looking for a vintage clothes/ thrifting opportunity.
As a long time vintage collector, I've been a fan of Beyond Retro for more than a decade in its many locations across the city. The staff are usually a nice bunch, but the manager of this branch is a real gem. Enthusiastic, engaged and obviously passionate about vintage clothing and her shop. Full marks to her and this branch for a great shopping experience!
The store is one of my favourites with a great selection and generally reasonable prices compared to other vintage stores. Always able to find some gold here, and it seems to be restocked very frequently. The downsides: - Heating was on far too high a temperature on my last visit. Outside it was 8C, but inside it felt like the Central Line. - The music was awful and repetitive. Maybe because of the particular staff in control, but I literally heard them replay the same song. - One of the staff members on shift had very strong body odour, that lingered wherever that walked.
