As Aussies travelling, we love to find new restaurants through recommendations, however stumbled upon this restaurant on our 2nd night and it was so good we decided to come back again before our week was ended. Our meal included the jalepeno poppers and the birra tacos and they are both unreal. As big Mexican food eaters, we were very impressed with the quality of food, and the speed of the food being served. I would definitely recommend coming here and having the birra tacos!!!

Started off great with a guacamole dip. The fajitas were pretty average. Service was great but it lacked ambience on the night we went. It was very quiet. Quite pricey for what we had.

Fun night at Buho! Sat at the bar. Decor and vibe were fun even though a quieter night. Great music. The mahi street tacos were delicious. Light, flavorful and presented well. The mezcal margarita was a highlight. Well balanced, flavorful and looked great! Our bartender, Riley, was fantastic! Very attentive, great energy and recommended excellent drink and food options. She also whipped up a tasty house made guacamole right at the bar, nice touch. Our server, Rachel was friendly and efficient and made us feel right at home. We were greeted by the manager as well and everyone we met on staff was warm and welcoming! Definitely recommend.

My husband and I loved Buho Cocina y Cantina so much we went twice just for the birria tacos! They were absolutely delicious — flavorful, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The rooftop atmosphere is great, though the service felt a bit disingenuous at times. The patio walls could use a scrubbing as well... Still, the food alone makes it worth a visit!

We ordered several dishes and two cocktails, a Porn Star Martini and a Cosmopolitan. I was pleasantly surprised that both the bartender and the waiter knew this cocktail, because in many places in the United States they usually have no idea what a Porn Star Martini is. The drinks were perfectly balanced and beautifully served. The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy, we chose to sit outside on the terrace, and it was a great choice. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly from start to finish, which really added to the experience. The food itself was fine, not bad at all but also nothing extraordinary. It was an overall good experience, not wow but definitely enjoyable. I would say it is a nice place for dinner and cocktails with friends if you want a relaxed evening and a lively atmosphere.
