10/10 recommend the food from Big Dawgs! Juan is AWESOME! He got our event catered at Rusty Nickel with some amazing food at such a great price point. I’m looking forward to visiting and chowing down on more delicious food!
Juan and his wife Salena were a true joy to work with. They showed up early, worked super hard for my companies July 4th celebration and ended up feeding close to 400 people, many of which ordered more than just one hotdog. We had Big Dawgs come to our business and they had a fantastic attitude, smiled, and had timely turn around with little wait. When I first reached out to Juan, he was super-fast on his reply and within minutes had sent me a custom menu for my company. Incorporated our logo and made us a custom gourmet hotdog menu for our fourth of July food truck event at our brewery. Everything looked amazing and all of the employees enjoyed the food and experience. Highly recommend Juan and his team. Great communication, wonderful attitude, and DELISH food!
They were set up at the Forney vendor day. It was blazing hot. And at first order was wrong. Then we got it to go and when we open 1 box they had pit both out orders in it together. The hot child cheese dog looked bad. And the plain dry burged pattty had a bit taken out of it. And for 10 dollar each they were kid size portions. I was so disappointed. The lady that hold was very nice. But we did not even eat the food. Gave it to our dogs.
After weeks of wanting a hot dog, I was finally able to stop by. There isn’t really hours posted so was hard to figure out when they were open. I sipped by a few times and it was closed but finally messaged on instagram and they promptly responded. Ordered 2 Big Dawgs and a Bog Tex. The Tex was wonderful. Great combo of the hot dog along with the carne asada and grilled onions, it was top notch. I will say the 2 Big Dawgs were lacking a bit. Didn’t feel there was enough topping and the kiddo was disappointed a bit. Fries were great and wonderfully seasoned. Great packaging and timely service. We ate inside the Rusty Nickel and they offered free drinks with our food which was very cool! All in all, great dog. Will def be back to give the smash burger a try.
We paid $20 for a chewy steak quesadilla and some Dorito crumbs, I don’t think there was 1 whole chip in there. Tired to order fries that were listed on the menu, they were not serving fries today. Waited around 45 mins. Looked at us like we were crazy when we asked for some salsa or anything to dip the quesadilla in. Would not come back.
