I had an incredible experience getting pierced by Lee at Big Easy Tattoo! From the moment I walked in, Lee made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. They took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all my questions, and maintained the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism. The piercing itself was quick, precise, and surprisingly painless thanks to Lee’s steady hand and calm demeanor. You can tell they truly care about both their craft and their clients’ comfort. My husband and I wanted a quick walk-in tattoo to get matching tats to celebrate our 1st trip to NOLA together, they got us in right away and we were done in an hour! Ace did my girl voodoo doll and Squee did the male voodoo. They were both super nice and I'm so glad we went in!
We walked in to get our vacation tattoos. When discussing the tat my wife and I wanted, they worked within our budget. That was wonderful they would do that for us. My wife was matched up with Ace for a black and white lil piece. She went back while Doc was working on my artwork. She was done in no time with a beautiful whimsical witches hat. DOC finished up my artwork. I had a grateful dead rose incorporated into a lightning bolt. I laid down and he got to work on an amazing original piece. I've had many tattoos, and his touch was so light I actually fell asleep a few times. The wife and I are very proud of our new ink. Id give 6 stars if I could!!!
The shop is clean and the staff are all awesome! My artist did an amazing job! I am so in love with her work! I am terrible with names, but I believe her name is Sweets (sp?). My husband and I get tattoos when we travel to represent the area we visited. She went above and beyond what I expected from this piece. My husband’s tattoo (another artist) is now his new favorite, as well.
I can’t say enough great things about this tattoo shop! My boyfriend and I decided to do a spontaneous walk-in on a Saturday afternoon, and from the moment we walked up to the door, we felt completely welcomed. We were greeted right away, shown the portfolios of several artists, and told that Steve and Christopher were both available. Both artists have over 15 years of experience and were genuinely excited to tattoo the pinup designs we chose. My boyfriend is a big fan of Sailor Jerry and got his very first pinup tattoo on his thigh. As a former roller derby player, I’ve always wanted a roller derby pinup—and I finally got her, right on my calf! Christopher really listened to what I wanted and absolutely nailed the design. It’s perfect, and I love her. What made the experience even better was how excited both artists were about the pieces they were doing. That kind of energy makes all the difference. This was such a special way to mark our first trip together to New Orleans. We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll never forget the amazing art we got to take home from such a memorable day. Highly recommend!
