This was a wonderful experience. The guy in the shop and the guy that helped us down to the water were both extremely helpful with local knowledge and recommendations on where to kayak. We saw tons of leopard sharks and sea lions. Great time😁
Great place. Zac was a great guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and it was great hearing about all the sea life and history of the area. I can't wait to.try the dinner recommendations tomorrow when we go to Little Italy for dinner. Great place with great people. I would definitely recommend going with them for a safe and fun time.
My husband and I are in our mid sixties. We love to bike cities when we are on vacation. And I will tell you that this e biking experience in La Jolla with Bike and Kayak Tours did not disappoint. Roman was our fearless guide, and he was absolutely the best! He was filled with tidbits of history and knowledge and fun facts. He took us to some behind-the-scenes streets and showed us all the beautiful ocean views. He was very good at communicating, letting us know when we we would be going up steep hills and down sharp declines. Overall, it was an amazing bike tour experience. If you want to see La Jolla, I would highly recommend Roman and this bike tour. It's at the top of our list when we have a return visit.
This kayak tour was the highlight of our time in San Diego. We had a magnificent time on the cave kayak tour with our wonderful guides Zach and Magdalena. The swells were a little high, but our guides and the other staff at Bike and Kayak Tours expertly assisted us by holding and guiding our boats at launch and our return to the beach. Zach and Magdalena were funny, knowledgeable, attentive and incredibly strong! We felt safe and in good hands during the whole tour. Magdalena guided our two kayaks into the cave carefully and helped lead us out. Our time in the cave was magical, with baby sea lions swimming around our kayaks and others resting inside. I would highly recommend this tour to others and will book again when it is leopard shark season.
We did a team-building kayaking tour to the La Jolla Caves with La Jolla Bike and Kayak Rentals as a group of six, and it was an unforgettable experience! Our guide, Magdalena, was absolutely amazing. From the very beginning, everything was well-organized and on time. Magdalena made sure we all felt comfortable and confident, giving clear and helpful instructions. She was incredibly calm, patient, and attentive throughout the entire tour – never rushing us and always making sure everyone was doing well. What really stood out was her deep knowledge of the area. She shared fascinating facts about the local history, marine life, and the natural beauty around us, which made the experience even more meaningful. You can tell she genuinely cares and works hard to give everyone a great time. The tour itself was exciting, fun, and a perfect mix of adventure and learning. The views were stunning, and being out on the water together was such a unique bonding experience for our team. Highly recommend this tour – and if you can, request Magdalena. She truly made it a 5-star experience!
