Tbh I feel a little dumb for not leaving a positive review sooner but these guys are amazing. They were amazing at their last location and they're beautiful at the new location. They've done tons of work on a sentimental bike for someone I care about and it always comes back beautiful, and they always do amazing on my chunkier, crappier "errand bikes". I'll never send anyone anywhere else.
I caled 10 mins before cclosing and I Came in 2 mins before closing needed my brother innertube changed but since it was last minute I just bought the tube but they asked me where the bike or my rim was at as if they were willing to stay after closing to knock it out for me but I didn't want to do them like that riye before closing time but I recognized amd appreciated the gesture. A1 customer service for asking where's the bike and wheel is. Even put gloves on the second I walked in a if they were ready to get it done for me! Cool dude and solid vibe store! I recommend this to every biker for service or just to get tools locks and anything bike related. Bikes need it they got it. Glad the just 2 blocks from my apt. Thanks again🍻
Went in on Tuesday looking to get an Ebike for getting to and from work. Chris was super friendly and helpful. He let me test out a few bikes and gave me a good amount of information about each one. Left with a Giant Roam E bike and it works great. Great service at this shop 10/10 would recommend this place.
Love this place. Support local and get your bikes fixed up here! They’ve taken great care of my bikes each time and are always super kind.
Don’t bother with this amateur. He’s 100% useless and rude. I had a creaking and clicking crank on my brand new single speed 26” Haro BMX, and needed it looking at, and explained that when I dropped it off. When I went to pick up my bike he’d loosened my chain and the brake, so much so that it no longer worked. After I’d tightened the brake with the shop’s Park Tool, I took it for a ride and it still had the same problem, a crank that was creaking a clicking. When I got back to the shop I spoke to the technician, Chris. He was snippy and rude. He told me, “You shouldn’t have a tight chain or tight brake on a 26” BMX.” Which is total nonsense. Most single speed BMXs ship with chain tensioners on them to ensure the chains are exactly that, tight. I asked him what he’d done to my bike to eliminate the creaking and clicking in the crank, and he said he’d greased the threads on the pedals, and tightened the bolts on the crank, loosened my chain and brake, and told me “You can’t just use a Park Tool to tighten up your bike you know, you need proper tools so you can get proper torque”. So, for $46.36 he’d greased the threads on the pedals, tightened my crank bolts and loosened my chain and brake. Genius. I asked him if he'd cycled it so he could feel and hear the problem for himself, his reply was, “We don't have time to cycle around on people's bikes all day. It was fine on the stand”. I then noticed that my bike frame had been scratched. When I pointed it out he said “I can't speak to that” and walked away. After speaking with Jason at the front desk I apprehensively left my bike with him in hope that Chris would actually fix the crank, as requested. He texted me two days with photos of my brake (no clue why) and "our presumption is that there is an install issue that's causing the creak with the pressed in bearings (part of the crank) which is beyond our capacity. Presumably this is an issue that can be brought up with Haro and we're not a Haro dealer”. When I expressed my disappointment and explained that if a crank was “beyond his capacity” then he shouldn’t have taken the bike or my money, he replied with, “We’re done here, you’re on private property and now you’re trespassing I want you off this property.” Chris was rude, and consistently uninterested in fixing my crank as repeatedly requested. Don’t bother with this amateur, fixing a bike is “beyond his capacity”, being courteous and professional is “beyond his capacity”. On the up side, Jason who checked my bike in was a delight to deal with, but if you need someone to fix your bike, this is definitely a spot to avoid.
