We've seen several of the Doctors for our pets at Birchwood and they have all been genuinely interested in our animals stories and provide an incredible standard of care. I have kept Dr. Hannah & Dr. Boyd late because I have so many questions but I have never been rushed and always been heard when I am advocating for my animals. This entire team is truly one of kind.

Dr.Robertson is absolutely the best.. When I brought my cat belle in for the hardest decision in my life-saying goodbye- She took the time to explain everything,console and comfort me. Her empathy was genuine and deeply felt. Her reassurance that I was doing the right thing for belle means more to me then words could ever say. I will be forever grateful for her to have been the one with belle and I during such a heartbreaking time ❤️

I’ve been attending Birchwood with my family dogs for 30 years now. It is by far one of the best veterinary clinics. In recent visits the last 4 months or so, we were treated with so much respect, kindness and so much compassion they showed for my Honey Bear. DrStafiniuk and Dr Remple were very thorough. They called me back every time I called with questions and concerns and to follow up with me on her condition. Honey Bear just recently passed, I received a card in the mail from Dr Stafiniuk personally. I can’t stop crying. Thank you for caring and understanding how hard it is losing a loved one and you don’t even know how much that meant to me.

We moved to back to the city last fall and recently started going to Birchwood Vet. Due to employment we have seen a number of vets across the country and I have to say Birchwood is TOP NOTCH. In June we took our senior girl Stella in and unfortunately she was diagnosed with Oral Cancer. I want to thank the whole team (Dr. Remple & Dr. Preston both helped us through this process). Everyone was so kind and really supportive during the process it really meant a lot to us. A special shoutout to Dr. Remple your kindness and empathy is so appreciated. We received a card from Dr. Remple and it was not just a general condolences card I could truly see that there was thought and effort in the words written. I appreciate you so much for all of your support. You gave us honest advice and made us feel informed and supported from our first visit. We are truly so lucky to have had you through this journey. Though we miss our sweet girl our guidance really helped us be at comfort that we were making the best decision for her in this situation.

We brought our beagle named Kali to see Dr. Hannah for the 1st time. As usual, Kali sat under the chair terrified. When Dr. Hannah entered the room, she immediately sat on the floor and grabbed her jar of treats. She slowly gained Kali’s trust and continued the appointment talking to us about her weight and sore leg, while remaining on the floor. Dr. Hannah gently did her check up and Kali was not nervous like she usually is. She did not pressure us to get any X-rays done (unless the limping doesn’t go away) or buy the expensive diet dog food. She gave us homemade recipes, as we requested. To say the least, we were blown away, as we had never seen a veterinarian sit on the floor to gain trust. She definitely chose the right career. She was honest, listened intently to our concerns and overall had the best intentions for Kali. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. HANNAH to anyone looking for a new vet or a 2nd opinion. We are so pleased with her and her staff. Thank you!!!
