I have had a few 1:1 Pilates sessions with Olga now and cannot rave about it enough! I am extremely unfit, hate exercise, have a sedentary job and consequently have a bad back. New to Pilates, from day one I was standing taller. Every time I feel my body getting stronger and my posture and alignment improving. Olga demonstrates and explains everything really well. Her extensive training and experience clearly evident. It is fascinating to observe all the little tweaks she makes and she ensures the sessions are varied and interesting. She is patient and encouraging. It is definitely a worthwhile investment. I would highly recommend it to everyone.
I have been practising at Birmingham Pilates Studios for the last couple of months and have seen really good results in both my physical and mental well-being. Miguel is super helpful, friendly, and always willing to offer useful advice as to how you can get the most out of your exercises. His studio is a clean and pleasant environment for people to spend their time in. To me, a lesson with Miguel is always a good distraction from every day routine and one of the things that keep me going! I would definitely recommend this studio to anyone considering doing pilates. It can be amongst the best things you can do for yourself!
As a Pilates beginner I went into my one to one Pilates sessions quite hesitant, however Miguel and Olga made myself feel at ease, and confident enough to challenge myself, without overdoing it. After only a few sessions, I noticed how much more aware I was of my posture, my balance, my alignment, and felt my physical strength gain week after week. Both Miguel and Olga take a very supportive and thorough approach, with my progress being their top priority. I would highly recommend Birmingham Pilates Studio!
This Pilates studio in Zellig is just amazing. Brilliant trainers who can offer a bespoke approach. A special shoutout to Olga. She is a gem. She clearly demonstrated how to perform the moves and corrected me if I did wrong. I leave sessions feeling empowered. My body and soul benefit so much from these sessions. Highly recommended.
I attended classes with Miguel a few times a week while I was acting on a UK Theatre tour in Birmingham (easy 15min walk from the New Alexandra Theatre) and loved them! He was very patient and understanding and catered each lesson to my specific needs. I felt he really took the time to understand what my body needed and how far I could go. He is very positive but also really encourages you to challenge yourself, so you leave feeling you've achieved a lot! Would highly recommend and will definitely return if ever in Birmingham again.
