I had Black Lash for our wedding makeup and hair and I cannot recommend Tara and her team more! They were absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process - from the initial phone call and organising, through to the trial and wedding day. Tara was able to adjust my makeup from the trial perfectly to what I wanted and I couldn't have been happier with the final result which lasted 15+ hours without deteriorating! On the day, Tara and her team were so friendly, professional and able to put all our nerves at ease. Tara was able to personalise each person's makeup to suit their skin needs and personal preferences while still maintaining a unified look. Amazing work from the whole team!
I could not have been happier with my wedding make up! Tara did my trial, and all of our make up on the day, and it was perfect. She took the time to find out what we wanted, and we were all so happy. The make up lasted all day and night, and was so beautiful and natural. Not just the make up, but also the whole vibe that Tara brought to the day. She kept us all calm and the morning was so much fun. Thank you Tara! 💕
Tara and Mel from Black Lash were the most amazing duo for myself and my bridesmaid's wedding hair and makeup. As someone who is not a makeup wearer, Tara did an amazing job creating a look I loved, but was also comfortable in. I wanted something natural, and Tara was an expert, creating something I loved from not a lot of information. On the day, not only were they absolute pros who made us all look 100% wedding ready, they were kind, incredibly helpful, and a great laugh. Everyone felt at home in our getting ready space, and the laughs and banter made the whole process feel quick and easy! Tara was super organised, amazing at communication, and went the extra mile to make sure the stressed out bride (me) was drinking and snacking while we got ready. Black Lash was worth every penny! A massive thank you to Tara & Amy for doing our hair & make-up for my wedding. Tara and her team made us feel so comfortable, accomodated and at ease- together with their positive, vibrant and fun energy! We loved the trendy, lively yet relaxed atmosphere at her studio in Raine Square. Also loved the fact they make their own make up lipstick, something special you can take away and remember your special day. How cool is that! I would recommend any bride-to-be to seriously consider this place. You will be in good hands for your big day- right from your first phone consult with Tara, she is so professional and responsive. I booked Tara and Mel to do hair and makeup for my wedding. , having been very happy with results when Tara had beautifully attended to our make-up for my daughters wedding the year before. Tara and Mel made us feel relaxed with the whole experience. We were looking for a natural ,but glamorous look, which Tara and Mel nailed perfectly. Mel confidently styled my thick curley hair beautifully. We received so many compliments of how lovely we looked. I would highly recommend Tara and Mel at Black Lash if you want to look and feel extra special on your wedding day.
