Went in for my first pair of Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses and Yen was amazing. So helpful and showed me several options. Customer service is 10/10. Can’t wait to go back.

I had an amazing experience at Black Optical. One of the screws on my Dita glasses fell out, and this happened on a Sunday when pretty much every optician and glasses store was closed. I stopped by Black Optical hoping someone could help. David was incredibly kind and helpful. Even though I didn’t purchase my glasses from them, he took the time to find a replacement screw and fixed my glasses free of charge. No hesitation, no upsell, just genuine care and professionalism. This kind of service is rare. David truly went above and beyond, and I’m extremely grateful. Black Optical has earned my trust, and I’ll definitely be coming back for future eyewear needs. Highly recommend!
This is such an amazing store! They have really unique frames that I haven’t seen anywhere in Dallas before. David is super knowledgeable and in-the-know with all things fashion in optics/frames/lenses. Such a cool young man, super helpful and is the epitome of kindness and excellence in customer service. They also do intricate repairs so if you have any favorite frames that you want to tune up, they are a great resource. Super cool vibe and environment.Just being in the store is a delight. Definitely recommend!
Upon accidentally walking into the store looking for sunglasses, we were pleasantly greeted by two sales people that showed us around, offered water, and recommended different styles based on our taste. We appreciated the attention to detail, the unique designs and comfort to try on each option. I ended up selecting the Kuboraum glasses as my first pair and absolutely love them. I will definitely be returning here for my next pair!
