We had an excellent experience with Taxi Tours Belfast and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Our guide was Joel, who was incredibly knowledgeable and an outstanding guide throughout the tour. Joel gave us a really good insight during the political tour, explaining the history of how the troubles started and then taking us through the key events, locations, and stories in a clear and engaging way. His knowledge, balance, and ability to explain complex history made the whole experience both informative and easy to understand. The tour lasted around three hours and honestly flew by. It was fascinating from start to finish and gave us a real understanding of Belfast’s past and present. I would highly recommend Joel and Taxi Tours Belfast to anyone visiting the city. An amazing experience and a must-do.

Kevin was our tour guide and he did an excellent job of showing us the recent history of Belfast. Easy to book online and received a useful communication in the morning about pick up. We had an amazing tour with Jimmy(James)! Not only was he honest, approachable, and extremely knowledgeable, but we also found him approachable and polite. I feel like we learned so much and left feeling appreciative of the experience in an almost way that was personal and in many way emotional. To see and hear the stories from a local was great. I highly recommend this as a must do for anyone visiting Belfast. Count yourself extra lucky if you get James, he’s a beauty.

It was an informative tour. Learn a lot about the struggles that Northen Ireland is going through. Love the murals are the city. I heard one side of the story, now interested to hear the other side. Very cool experience especially for people who are interested in history

We had a great tour of the political murals around the city with our driver Paul. He gave us a great overview of the history of North Ireland and Belfast specifically. He had a wealth of knowledge and personal experience to share. He was also very careful about taking care of our belongings and making sure the taxi was locked when we exited. This was a highlight of our trip!
