I got my hair blown out today by Angel and he did a fantastic job! My hair is so clean and he got IN there and scrubbed my scalp. Best hair washing. And everyone at the location is kind and welcoming! Will be back fot sure!
On Nov 1 I had an appt and had to wait 45 minutes because the customer ahead of me kept asking the stylist to change her hair. Did I complain ? No I was really gracious and was late to my event! Today my appointment was at 245 and I arrived at 254 due to closures of I 10 that delayed my travel time by over 1.5 hours . The stylist said I was 10 minutes late so she could not wash my hair which is the main reason I was there. Who would want a dry style with dirty hair! The cancellation policy says they can change up the appointment if you are OVER 10 minutes late.I was not over 10 minutes late. I felt she just didn’t feel like working . There were absolutely No clients there and 2 stylists. All my other experiences were good except those 2! and I love the rest of the stylists and they do my hair really well. I have been going there for years. But if they charge me anything for this appt I will use up my tabs and find somewhere that is more consistent with their own policies!
I want to share my experience with the Blow Dry Bar at the Dominion location because it was a series of issues. One of the stylists who rotates in from the Lincoln Heights location offered her personal hair coloring services after I asked about color options. I agreed. She kept rescheduling, then sent an angry message when I could not fit her changes. I told the manager at the Dominion location and nothing happened. I kept getting poor blowouts. I let the manager do my hair at one point and the result was worse. She stopped trying. I asked for a redo because the quality kept dropping. My next appointment was with the same stylist who pushed her outside services. She messaged me saying she no longer wanted to serve me at the salon at all. I reported this. Management told me she did not have to take me. I was never asking for personal services, only the service I paid for. You need to know this before signing up for a subscription. You might deal with stylists who behave in ways that are unprofessional and the owners will support them. The only positive outcome was that I requested a refund for the month and requested cancellation. They processed both.
Wayyyy overpriced and I’m willing to drop money on my hair. A entire bottle of dream coat from Sephora is $26. (I own it, so I know) They charge $20 to add it on your service for three squirts to the palm and rubbed in your hair which is WILD and not how it should be used in the first place… they also just raised the prices to blow dry and curl my hair to $70.00 base price without tip or add ons. I’ll just have my hair girl do it for less and I’ll just make an appt ahead of time. I won’t be back.
i was excited to come here as it was my first time and i wanted my hair to look good for an event later. the girl that did my hair seemed new since she didn’t ask how my day was going, didn’t explain what kind of product was going in my hair, when i wanted my hair parted in the middle she did it crooked and asked if that was fine.. i was like no? then said well you’re hair is too fine to pick up on the comb. she was using a wide thick comb. it took forever to check out too. the other stylists seemed way nicer with their clients. overall it was an uncomfortable experience and my hair ended up flat. it was not worth the time and money
