Blooms Collective was fabulous to work with for our wedding. I had no real vision for my flowers, and they were able to work with my complete lack of knowledge to come up with something beautiful and unique! We had a fall wedding, and I wanted a fall palette without leaning too much in to it, and I think they did a fabulous job- I'm obsessed with the ornamental cabbage that was in my bouquet. I have also received a flower arrangement from Blooms Collective as a gift, and it was stunning. I highly recommend for both special event florals and for your every-day florist needs!
Hands down the best flower shop in Dupont/Logan Circle areas! They always have such amazing varieties of flowers and all from local farms too! The bouquets are so reasonable, I was used to paying double for much less unique bouquets at other shops and grocery stores. The boutique itself is stocked with all sorts of nifty crafts and finds that make it fun to browse around (get a gluggle jug before they’re gone!). And did I mention it’s dog friendly?!
I am so grateful for Katie and Lauren and all their expertise in making sure I had the most beautiful bouquets for my wedding. Blooms Collective was able to work with my small budget and give me magical flowers that went beyond my vision for my big day. I really appreciated how they used their creativity and helped me incorporate special heirlooms from my grandmother into my bouquet. I mentioned adding some fabric from her wedding dress and using some brooches and they executed that with perfection. They took the time to make sure they still preserved her wedding dress and made actual ribbon with piping. They also arranged multiple brooches into the bouquet by placing them on sticks like they were flowers. These sentimental touches to honor my grandmother were noticed by my family members and I’m so grateful I was able to honor her on my big day. I would recommend this small business to any bride. Called late on a Thursday for 8 table arrangements for the post-wedding brunch (forgot to do this ahead). Lauren was great assuring me it was not too late for a Saturday afternoon delivery. She walked me through my options and price points and fulfilled the brides request for bright colors. Delivery right on time & everything stayed super fresh u til the Sunday morning when we brought them to the brunch venue. Very festive and lovely. Guests fought over who got to take them home.
5/5 - Experience 5/5 - Atmosphere Had a fabulous time taking my mom to Blooms Collective's Blooms Bar on Friday! I was looking for things to do with my mom to when she visited and came across Bloom's easel out front of the store a couple days ahead of time. We showed up and everyone was having a great time! One of the workers was making mini-wreaths with some little girls and it was so cute! Immediately, we both saw this beautiful hanging arrangement. It's called a Kissing Ball and looked so delicate and cute. We were immediately welcomed with a complimentary drink and given a tour of the shop. My mom loved it and struck up a conversation with one of the owners. The flower bar was a really fun concept too that we both loved! The shop had out a really beautiful selection of stems and greens. We were given a quick tutorial in flower arranging and then allowed to make our own palette. They even brought out a couple additional flowers from the back that added great color to our arrangement! Great way to welcome my mom to DC for a Christmas weekend! Will 100% be coming back and ordering from Blooms! Great addition to the community! Thank you Katie and Lauren! :-)
