We used Blue Plate for our wedding, and could not have been more happy with our decision. Everyone we reminisce about the wedding with brings up the appetizers, without fail. Missy and her team were fantastic to work with throughout the whole process, and the tasting session felt like a dream. We wanted fun, approachable, delicious food with great presentation, complex flavors, and professional service, and they delivered on all fronts. And bonus points for allergy accommodation/knowledge! Highly recommend!
I had Blue Plate cater for my Christmas party and all I can say is wow! The food was amazing everyone kept saying how fresh the food was. I order plenty of food and everyone took home several to go containers home. This was top notch service! I will definitely be using them again. Customer service was outstanding! Julian the delivery driver was awesome- helped me set up tables when I wasn’t quite ready. Over all great customer service and food! Thank you blue plate catering!
My wife and I received Blue Plate vendor meals after working a wedding as event florists in downtown Chicago. I'm gluten free and the care they took to make sure I still had something incredible and delicious (gluten free bread AND a chocolate chip cookie???) was so appreciated. We ate our meals on the drive home and it was so satisfying to not have to think about what to eat after a long day doing flowers. We were so grateful! We come across Blue Plate frequently as event florists and appreciate their professionalism and tasty food.
Allium, Blue Plate’s event space located on the rooftop of their Fulton HQ, recently hosted a wonderful Crain’s Chicago Business breakfast. The staff were courteous in service and effective at making the event run smoothly. The food was delicious. For such a new venue, this kind of quality was a surprise - a testament to Blue Plate’s excellence. Allium has stunning views of Chicago’s Loop while holding the up-and-coming energy of the Fulton district.
Loved working with and using Blue Plate for our wedding. The quality of the food is so much better than other caterers. The tasting blew us away and we’ve been so pleased with the communication throughout our wedding planning process. Everyone raved about the food at our wedding and they were super accommodating! Highly recommend.
