Arwen and the team at Bluegrass Dog Training have truly transformed our lives. Our labradoodle Milo came into training with extreme reactivity, leaving us with little to no control over him. After private training sessions and group classes, my wife and I now have the confidence to train our dog. In just six months, we saw significant progress, and Bluegrass has become a second home for our dog. He regularly attends daycare and boarding with them and is always excited. If you need dog training in the Lexington area, I cannot recommend Bluegrass enough.

I can’t say enough great things about Arwen and her team. My youngest golden went from nervous and anxious to confident and excited in his first camp session. We’ve now had the chance to do barn hunt, rally and camp and every experience has been fabulous. My dogs all love coming to class and Arwen seems to know just want every dog in the class needs to gain confidence and skills. I took my oldest to the intro to dog sports thinking he’d be too mature for most classes but he LOVED every second. More importantly all the dogs are more focused and relaxed at home and we have little rounds of homework they all look forward to doing! I’ve been going for over 6 months and don’t know that I’ll ever stop, there’s such a great progression from intro classes to the higher level and Arwen is there to support you wether competition or just fun is your goal. If you have dogs there is a class for you! Edited after a full year of trying different classes I can say this place is still amazing. My dogs are even competing at local shows which has been so much fun and made them so much happier at home!! And now they offer daycare!!

I started taking classes at BGDTA about 3 years ago when I adopted a very sensitive, under-socialized dog. We took the beginner class with Devin and had a wonderful experience. The dogs in the class had a variety of social skills and needs and Devin adapted the assignments to help each dog succeed. We've gone on to earn our Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog titles and take many Barn Hunt and Rally classes from Arwen. Arwen is an awesome coach and super-supportive with newbies learning how to enter and succeed at competitive events. We're close to earning our first Rally title and I'm tickled with our progress. Now my new puppy is learning confidence and public skills while enjoying Barn Hunt.

Denny et Hannah ont pris plaisir à suivre des cours de barn hunt et d'agilité avec Bluegrass Dog Training Academy. En plus de prendre plaisir aux cours, les deux chiens ont été plus obéissants et détendus à la maison. Arwen est patiente et encourageante à l'égard des deux chiens et de leurs maîtres.
