My dog is somewhat difficult to deal with. She can't interact with any other animals, but is good with people. I've never boarded her for more than one night at a time, partially because I worry that people won't take my warnings regarding her reactiveness seriously. I didn't worry about that at all with Bluegrass Pet Chalet. Prices are extremely reasonable, everyone i talked to was very pleasant, and while my dog was happy to be home, I know she was very well taken care of during her time there. Thanks very much for taking care of Misha, we'll be back!

We had a very positive experience with Bluegrass Pet Chalet! Their website is easy to navigate and making a reservation for my little dog was online. The owners were prompt in responding to any questions and concerns and I felt like my baby was safe and well pampered during his stay. I really appreciated all that they did to give him attention during his recent stays!! Beautiful well kept property with kind staff! Thank you so much!!

Left our dog with Bluegrass Pet Chalet over a long weekend while we were out of town. They did a fantastic job with him, and he was happy and healthy when he came home. We sprung for him to have a pool day and to receive daily photo updates, and they provided multiple updates per day with several photos. They give each dog individual play time outside, so there is no risk of him getting injured by others dogs in an open playtime when they can't all be directly supervised. The indoor facilities are also very clean and well kept, they definitely care about the animals and what they do. I'm so thankful for a pet boarding in town that is not surrounded by other businesses, as our boy has bad anxiety with vehicles, but did not have any issue here. I'd recommend them to anyone, and will definitely use them again in the future.

Bluegrass Pet Chalet was the perfect calm solution for a busy holiday weekend. No fireworks in the country! An owner gave us a tour before we made our reservation (a rarity in the industry in our experience). The facility was very clean and cool even in the height of summer. They took great care of our pets by making sure our active dog got lots of walks and giving our calm cat his medication. Happy to recommend their very professional service.

We highly recommend Bluegrass Pet Chalet. We had never boarded our dog but needed a place for Daycare while my husband received medical care in Lexington. The facility was very clean. The staff were so sweet and accommodating. And most of all our dog handled this new experience quite well. They even sent us photos of her playtime! We have always planned our Lexington activities around our dog and missed out on shopping and restaurants due to having her with us. We will now be dropping her off for a few hours at Bluegrass Chalet when we are in town so we can take care of medical appointments and enjoy the town while we are here.
