I used to love their pork cake in the Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup) when dine in. That’s why I bought 6 of their pork cake rolls home. I was shocked & surprised when seeing the wrapping of these rolls. ***Aluminium foil was wrapping the outside, then plastic bag, & then a thin layer of banana leaves. This combination is so dangerous when steaming at high heat. How can they use plastic bag to cook at high heat? These plastic bags are not designed to cook at high heat; that’s why all the plastic residues got into the pork cake part. It was hard for me to take it off. I won’t come back here anymore since they neglected the health being of their customers.
We ordered #1 and #7. Took less than 5 mins to get our food. The taste is average, not too bad, not very good. Be aware they only take cash or debit card, and they don’t have the notice anywhere, which is annoying. Their restroom is good though🙂
My family and I go here anytime we're craving bun bo hue. I remember it being spicier when I was younger, but still delicious nonetheless. The portions are generous, but the large seemed enormous! Again, the food was delicious, and I love that each order came with its own vegetable serving so that the table doesn't need to share. Worth the price if I don't make it a habit to come here too often!
Got a large #5. Plenty of noodles and plenty of meat. Pho broth tasted good. Highly recommended in the area.
The Bún Bò Huế here is seriously next level. It’s packed with flavor without going overboard on the spice like a lot of other places do. I really appreciate that it strikes the perfect balance, just the right amount of heat and lemongrass without overpowering the broth. You can actually taste the depth in the soup. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this hidden gem. Definitely coming back!
