Kirsti was so professional and put you at ease and relaxed right from the start. It was amazing, with just the right amount of pressure as requested and the most wonderful way to spend 3 hours on my anniversary! I would definitely recommend Kirsti.
Pretty spa. No canapé to begin with which is odd given the supposed standard they are going for. The treatments were lovely but it was hugely hindered by the fact that I was freezing the entire time. Even with 2 duvets, I was so cold that I couldn’t stop shivering. For $600 for a massage and facial, being miserably cold wasn’t nice at all. The foot soak at the beginning was lovely. The beds are very narrow so I tried to stay cocooned into a blanket the whole time. Whenever the cover had to come off to massage, my shivering became an entire body thing.
I had a blissful 1 hr full body massage and my therapist was Anita. She was absolutely brilliant and really cared that everything was just right, regularly checking in with me on the pressure and my comfort. I would absolutely book in with her again. I was able to choose between 2 scents for the oil and any sore areas for more attention. The staff member who greeted us at the reception area was also lovely and showed us through the locker areas and how to access the leisure deck and spa facilities which we used after the massage. I had a glass of Prosecco (order via QR) after the treatment and a gentleman delivered it straight to the heated jacuzzi in a pool-safe glass so that I could enjoy it without hopping out. The aesthetic and design of Bodi Spa and the adjoining leisure deck area is the best in Adelaide and I will definitely be back. I’m looking forward to trying other Bodhi spas in Aus and overseas. Even though it is a little more expensive than other options, it is absolutely worth it for such a unique and high quality experience with exceptionally good staff. Thank you Bodhi Team.
I have been coming here way before EOS spa got replaced with BOHDI spa and I’ve got to say it was a massive downgrade. I paid around $280 for specifically a deep tension release massage and it was the softest massage ever, Claire had absolutely no idea on how to get deep knots out of the body nor massage properly which is annoying by because these massages are not cheap. My money was wasted and I would have got a better recovery if I went down to the Chinese spot down the road for $50. If you don’t want a wasted disappointing massage then please avoid Claire. Next time I go will be mainly for spa amenities and I will make sure I avoid Claire at all costs. My grandmother with 0 massage experience could have massaged me better.
The Eos spa is now being managed by the Bodhi spa group (reopened under the new management last week). Had a 'Relax' massage given by therapist Nancy, and honestly was one of the best massages I've ever had. In addition to the treatments, the venue is lovely. Not a big spa, but includes a lovely small pool and jacuzzi, with a sun terrace - all with a view. Haven't tried the sauna or steam room as yet, but if you are staying at the hotel you can access those without having to pay for a pool pass. Appointments are in demand, so book as early as possible.
