I had heard so many great things about the Halloween tour and was very excited for this tour, unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype. The trolley was adorable and decked out in holiday decor, and the driver Stella was great. She drove very carefully and I tend to get motion sickness very easily but I did not get nauseous at all! We met at a community space near the Asian market and they had a hot chocolate bar, then we loaded the bus. We were driven down the street about 2 minutes to a neighborhood with Christmas lights. They were pretty, but we just drove around that neighborhood for an hour. I was expecting to go to Harrison Blvd, downtown and other locations that would be decked out, and hoping for a more interactive experience with a tour vibe with fun facts etc. Maybe some singing along of holiday songs. Definitely not worth the $25 a person, maybe $5? Great idea, poor execution. The staff was friendly and the trolley was cute! I hope they can improve for next year!

Our second tour with Boise Trolley Tours, and the Christmas Lights Tour was very fun! They picked an amazing neighborhood, the atmosphere was lively and very kid-friendly, and the driver was safe and so sweet. The 3D glasses were a fun touch! The owner truly cares about his customers, is open to feedback, and genuinely wants to make the experience even better. Highly recommend—especially for the holidays! 🎄✨

This was our first time ever doing something like this and it was so much fun. It was raining however we were blessed and bought to be able to be in the enclosed trolly. We went on the Halloween tour and they had the trolly decorated accordingly as well. The drive was very patient in explaining the answers to all of our many questions, as well as knowledgeable about the history of Boise. My mom has some health issues and has trouble with bumpy rides so we were a little concerned about this when booking. However we never shared this with our drive and even without saying anything to him he was very aware of how he was driving and about surrounding traffic. We absolutely loved the talking skeleton (yes even most of his jokes lol). We are so looking forward to doing the other 3 tours styles that are offered. My group also thinks this would be something exciting and fun for parents and or people with disabilities or special needs/sensory issues. I no first hand how sometimes one of the parents and the person don't get to do some of the holiday things because of one issue or another. However if the amenities are available we would say this would be a 10/10 yes set a time to take them in the trolly. Blessed Be Be Safe

This was so fun! We saw a lot of Boise that I don’t think we ever would have seen otherwise. My only suggestion, maybe have one that actually stops at the Penitentiary for longer so we could go in? We will do another one for sure.

It's been a couple of decades since I've ridden this trolley. But when a long-time friend and old classmate came to visit for the first time, what better way to introduce downtown Boise? The ride was a bit different and longer. Our tour guide was funny and very accommodating. It was great! We had a couple of stops and lots of photo opps. I even learned about some history I had not heard before. Needless to say, my friend enjoyed the tour and so did I!
