I came to Bonterra not Chianti’s. An extremely disappointing carbonara. For 29$ I would expect nothing below exceptional. I’ve been coming here for birthdays and anniversaries for the classic carbonara so I am familiar with the quality. However our recent visit was nothing but two sloppy dishes, one overcooked, another undercooked, one soupy, another one dry, all to be a flavourless carbonara. Quality of the pancetta was below subpar, no crisp, a lot of fatty white pieces (I am fully aware o pancetta is fatty, unfortunately not cooked correctly makes it an awful chewy texture) no flavour like they used to do it. Additionally the presentation lacked cleanliness and looked to be on a cheap plate. My husband and I both ordered a carbonara and you would think they were two different dishes. If you don’t believe me go see the pictures. If the owner is reading this, I BEG YOU TO PLEASE bring back the original carbonara with the right pasta and ingredients like the true Italian dish that it was. No rigatoni, no chili flakes, no green spices.

Had a lovely time this evening at Bonterra. We came for their Mac and cheese dish as it was a winner last yr. It wasnt as rich in flavor as I was expecting unfortunately but the Venue is very classy and our Waiter Antoine was great. Would definitely return to try out other items on their menu.

Came here for a friend’s birthday and it far surpassed my expectations (and they were pretty high to begin with). To start, as soon as the hostess found out it was my friend’s birthday, they brought over complementary glasses of champagne for the two of us. Then, our server was fantastic - everything he recommended was spot on! I wish I could remember what our appetizer was but it really set the tone for flavour. For dinner I ordered the pumpkin ravioli and my friend got the gnocchi. I had ZERO complaints with the ravioli and would get it again, but I will say the gnocchi was *chefs kiss*. For dessert we ordered the mangia cake and it was massive. Highly recommend sharing that with others. I want to come back and try everything on the menu, I would be shocked if there was something I didn’t like. So good!

Disgusting cold appetizers that tasted a bit better than a TV dinner or a little worse than KFC (alot worse to be honest). Sadly they didnt have the main i wanted and the replacement was subpar for the price. Atmosphere at first was beautiful until you find out theres on three washrooms for 60+ guests and you're waiting in a line. Despite all that the night was amazing and fun because of the amazing waiters and staff who were so friendly polite and accommodating. I was impressed by our servers knowledge and kindness and thats why I rated service 5 stars.

Bonterra catered my annual Wine and Technology Festival once again this year. The quality and presentation of the food was exceptional in every way. I hosted 120 guests and they chanted Meatballs Meatballs Meatballs as I unveiled the scrumptious table of delightful antipasti and condividere. The arancini were crisp and delightfully light, the meatballs are simply heavenly. Big round of applause to Chef Gary and his team. Bravo ! I give you 10 stars not just five... Thank you so much.
