We hired Bookstore Movers to help move from a two bedroom to a new house about 45 minutes away. The movers were fast and friendly, which is always appreciated. There was a slight hiccup with our TV during the move (bent corner), but they contacted us within a couple days and worked with us to settle things fairly. All in all would recommend them for a worry free quick move 😊
Bookstore Movers was GREAT. I've never had a move of any type go so smoothly before -- they showed up on time, packaged and took care of stray items easily, drove the 30ish minutes for my local move, and unpacked on the other side SO efficiently. They truly made it as painless as moving items could possibly be. AND they were done on time?! Literally never heard of it. Thank you!!
Just finished our second move with bookstore movers! Huge shout out to Patrick, Renaldo, Kevin and Nitua. They made everything so easy- they took extra care disassembling and reassembling a table and bed I inherited from my great aunt. I’d recommend them to anyone in the DMV!

The three movers who helped us were professional, efficient, and so kind throughout the process. They worked quickly while still paying close attention to detail, which made the whole move stress-free. One tip I’d share: make sure your boxes are packed so they can be lifted without breaking—it really helps the movers do their job even better. Overall, a 5/5 experience! Literally the best moving experience I have ever had in DC! Movers arrived on time, were efficient and nice to work with! Moving can be so stressful but they handled everything so well and smoothly! Would definitely use again and recommend to everyone (as they were recommended to me by other friends with the same experience!)
