A one-a-kind place for learning how to capture thr human figure! I have the unlimited subscription for $100/month, which gives you access to both locations (Somerville) and over 35 sessions each month. I’ve learned so much! You can even use the Washington St location for co-working.
Incredible place! There are figure drawing sessions, portrait drawing or workshops mostly every day (sometimes multiple in a day). The hosts are super welcoming, very talented and give great feedback. The studio space is open to members from morning to evening, is big and very nice, with complementary drinks and snacks. All in all, the membership is amazing value for money! Could not recommend more!
Absolutely phenomenal space. The art center is super welcoming to all levels and so chill. It's been a great place to disconnect from work and stress. Attending the drawing as meditation sessions has become a really important part of my wellness routine. Models change regularly and offer a really wide variety of body types which makes every session fun.
I recently hosted an event at BFAC, and the experience exceeded my expectations on every level. The space itself is well-decorated, with a creative atmosphere and flexible room layouts that easily fit our needs. Their support gave me peace of mind, allowing me to focus on my guests and the occasion rather than worrying about logistical hiccups. Because of BFAC's staff support and lovely space, my event turned out to be a great success. I received nothing but positive feedback from guests about the convenient location, beautiful interior design, and overall ambiance. If you’re looking for a venue that combines a great location with top-notch service and a welcoming environment, I highly recommend BFAC. They helped make my event a memorable one, and I look forward to hosting future gatherings there.
I joined Boston Figurative Art Center in March 2024 and have been using it as a wonderful space to learn and practice sketching. The studio has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day at work. The BFA team is incredibly warm and welcoming, creating an environment that fosters creativity and relaxation.
