Brighton Jones delivers a truly personal and client-focused financial planning. They genuinely listen to my unique needs and goals, building trust with tailored advice that's easy to understand. Their holistic approach, covering investments, taxes, and estate planning, is a strength (Personal CFO). My suggestion for improvement is a more proactive approach to new ideas and emerging financial strategies. While their advice is sound, I'd love to see them introduce proactive cutting-edge concepts more often, rather than waiting for me to ask. Overall, I've had a great personalized experience. A bit more proactivity in innovation would make them truly unmatched.
I've been with Brighton Jones for over 20 years. Never once have I second guessed my choice. My concerns and portfolio are handled with such care and transparency. I trust my team explicitly with my financial well-being. It has never been a "one plan fits all" approach...they listen and carefully tailor their plans and advice to what my specific goals and concerns are. I feel like they are always there 24/7 if I need them and could not be more comfortable with my choice.
Brighton Jones was a very hit or miss firm for us. When we came on board it was fantastic, but soon our team was changing people faster than we could keep track. Mistakes were made, dates were missed, and the apathy towards our account was palatable. After a couple of years we decided to move to another firm and we should have done so sooner. In our experience some of the people there are absolutely rock stars, and others are just rocks.
My wife and I have been Brighton Jones clients for a little over three years and we have been very happy, and we've referred many friends to Brighton Jones as well. As a CPA, my wife sees the performance of her client's financial advisors, and Brighton Jones is the ONLY advisory firm she praises and recommends.
We came to Brighton Jones after our much-valued representative (as well as our portfolio manager!) left Schwab. At the time, Schwab employees had been required to refrain from telling their clients where they were going if they left the company. After diligent searching, a friend found our representative at Brighton Jones. We followed him there. B-J has a well organized system, keeping us well informed and meeting with us regularly. Although we rarely saw our original representative (he moved up the ladder at the nearby B-J HQ in Seattle), the company has maintained its continuity and values. And performance? It regularly exceeds our expectations.
