I’ve had my creative studio here for a few years and it’s been an awesome experience. The building is clean, well-run, and super easy to work with. I’ve also seen so many great corporate events, parties and weddings hosted here over the years. It’s an amazing and affordable space with a great urban, vibe in the heart of Corktown.
If you’re looking for a space where you can be creative, this is the place! We specifically were looking for a spot that allows outside catering because a typical Vietnamese/Chinese wedding has a 6-8 course meal. Matt allows you to have free rein and make your dreams become a reality. His bartenders also did an amazing job at keeping the drinks flowing and the vibes were immaculate. They also have an outdoor patio that is beautifully decorated and was definitely a hit when nighttime fell with the cool graffiti and string lights! They also have a side gate that opens to the patio, which worked out perfectly for our food truck to drive in and serve late night! Our venue turned out so beautiful and Matt’s place was the best space to book! There is plenty of parking for guests and allowing a 24 hour rental allowed our coordinators with ample amount of time to fully decorate before guests began to arrive.
We just got married here and it was absolutely amazing. The venue is beautiful and you can make it whatever you want it to be! Alex and Matt are more than accommodating and very kind. They made this process so easy for us. We got many compliments on the venue itself. The bar was high functioning and no one had to wait for long. We looked at so many venues in Detroit but this was hands down the best and we are so glad we chose it! It was the best night of our entire lives!
This was one of the coolest wedding venues we have been to in Detroit. The table set up, bar, interior was beautiful. The outside was great too. We listened to wonderful jazz music while looking at the Detroit skyline on an enclosed rooftop. Everything was perfect from the time we were greeted at the door until we departed with a vase of flowers. I would highly recommend Brooklyn Detroit for any event.
I attended a wedding at this venue and it was INCREDIBLE! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to celebrate their nuptials. The outdoor area was perfect for the ceremony!
