Abbi and Ellie were fantastic, so kind and friendly and gave me an amazing clean, the whole flat is sparkling now! Daisy who I booked in with was also brilliant, very helpful and patient with all my questions! Thank you so much to everyone!! :)
When I say this is the best investment I've ever made for myself, I mean it. The price for the quality of service you get is impeccable, especially given how hard everyone at Broom and Bucket works. All of the staff I've spoken to since they started working with me have been incredible, they're always quick to reply and super friendly. Danielle, the owner - she's absolutely wonderful and you can see she pours her heart and soul into the business, so kind and understanding of your circumstance no matter what you're going through. I had a clean with Debbie today and let me tell you, she's an absolute superhero. She wasn't just a friendly face here to clean for me, she made me feel comfortable, she was empathetic. She left the place absolutely spotless and has done so much better than I ever could have done alone. I'm so grateful to Debbie that I've asked for her to come again because the job she did and her kindness really means the world to me. I can't even put into words how thankful I am to everyone at B&B, thank you all so much.
Their communication was good, but unfortunately the cleaning service was far below our expectations. Despite clearly explaining that we were moving out in a few days and had limited time, they didn’t manage to clean the house properly. There was still visible dust and even rubbish left on the floors. Two rooms were completely untouched, and the doors were left very dusty. The inside of the windows was still covered in dirt and cobwebs. We ended up having to re-clean the entire house ourselves until midnight — with a 4-month-old baby. Very disappointing.
I called broom and bucket to book a one off clean as we'd just moved into the property. That was the precise request I made to the call handler. I was quoted for 4h of clean time, plus oven clean. Two lovely ladies came, and after the 4h, plus an additional 1h.45, only half the house was cleaned, and to a poor standard. The oven was only half cleaned, but they did offered to return to finish. When I questioned the service, I was told that the clean was booked a general clean, which is more light upkeep, rather than deep clean. This was at no point mentioned. Also, why would you as a business agree to book a light upkeep clean for someone who just moved into a property?! The team were lovely, and offered a 10% refund, but the standard was just poor and would not recommend them, nor would I book them again. Please see pictures.
Had my new flat deep cleaned today (with carpet cleaning) and I couldn't be happier. I was seriously contemplating renovating the kitchen and replacing sockets and the radiators, but now I am happy with leaving them as is saving me a lot of money. The owner, Danielle, is very nice and she gets back to you right away with your quote very accommodating. There were two staff cleaning, Katilyn and Holly, and they did a great job, and the inspection at the end was done by a third person, Becca, and was all very professional and made sure I was satisfied with the job! Highly recommend this service. I was also keen to get local cleaners to support local businesses.
