I’ve been getting my brows threaded here for over a year now. Sujita and staff do such great work. Fair price for service and short wait times!
EDIT: Sujita reached out to me and refunded me $15 which was the overcharge. I am hopeful for increased levels of transparency from now on! --Original review below-- love small, women owned businesses so I am really sad to write this review, but the lack of transparency around pricing left me feeling taken advantage of. I booked an eyebrow threading and hydrafacial online. When I booked it, the website told me these items together would cost $140. Fine. Sujita did my eyebrows and facial. She is very friendly and I enjoyed learning more about her and the studio. The facial consisted of cleanse, mask, and an ice cube massage. She never asked me if I wanted anything done, she just did what, I assumed, was the standard facial proceudre. The problem comes when it was time for me to pay. She tells me, "Because of the mist and ice massage, it is $50 extra." She says this very quickly and then flips to a screen that asks for a tip with only the options for 25%, 30%, and 35%. Let me be clear that at no point did Sujita ask if I wanted her to mist my face or do ice cubes. Regardless, the fact that that would be $50 extra is absurd. I only see the final amount after I pay and realize it comes out to over $200! By that point, I am flustered and leave. I hope this does not happen to any future customers.
First time customer. I came in to get my eyebrows waxed/threaded and was serviced right away. The woman did such a good job. It was basically painless and it was so affordable in pricing. The place was very clean and spacious. This is definitely my new go to spot and I would highly recommend to others.
I’ve been seeing Sujita for months for waxing and she’s amazing! She’s very gentle and friendly. On my birthday this past Friday I book a facial. By far the best facial I’ve ever had! 10 out of 10, highly recommend her & her staff.
I’ve been looking for a new eyebrow waxer in Lexington.. I came here earlier today & she was very accommodating by squeezing me into her schedule. I warned her like I do all estheticians that my face is sensitive to waxing, & when I’ve done this with other waxers they’ve made some adjustments (lowering temperature & taking more time to be careful) & my skin has been just fine. It could have been because she was rushing, or because she threaded on top of where she waxed, but regardless my eyebrows are now so scarred & will likely be like this for several days or a week. I’m really disappointed & the shape was not good enough to make up for the scarring I’m now going to have to deal with. ):
