The food here is genuinely impeccable! Me and my homeboy went here for breakfast and had some amazing food and smoothies. The service as well was fast and attentive; the lady who served us was called Liz, thank you Liz! Would definitely recommend.
Omg. Today was the first time I had food here . I had the shakshuka with poached eggs and a pistachio latte . My partner had the juicy smash house burger with chips . As soon as we tried his chips they were fresh and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside . The salt flakes were a great touch and his burger was very fresh and flavoursome . My dish was very delicious. The spice was just the right touch and the eggs were poached very well . The focaccia was crispy but not overdone . Delicious tomato flavours! There was quite a bit of oil in the tomato sauce but it may be the case that this is normal for shakshuka. I’m not sure . The staff are very friendly and the dishes arrived quickly within reasonable time . No complaints . This is a very unique place with its dishes and menu . We eat a lot and review foods so this place was impressive so far .
Delicious food and reasonably priced! Coffee wasn’t bad either! Traditional Turkish options available but I couldn’t resist a bitta hot sauce and chicken wit my eggs.
I honestly feel bad writing this but I made my friend walk so far to get here and for us to have wasted our money and have to eat elsewhere means someone in management needs to really have some oversight in this place. I think this is a good place for people to stop by and get a drink. The staff are always friendly. However, not just on opening day but everytime I come there are always issues and the worst part is when you waste money again and again on drinks and food from here it becomes really disappointing and distasteful. The staff always seem confused and just slow as heck. Everytime I come here there is new staff. I think there is just so much on the menu and clearly not enough time and thought into the quality. There have been times my matcha was not even whisked properly by apparently 'good baristas' and had mouthfuls of bitter matcha powder. I've had drinks where the syrup was too much and disasterly sweet. I've had their toasties, which are actually tasty but always cold in the centre because of the way they toast it. But today was the absolute worst. I can't believe how long it took them to serve us today. My friend's burger was sat on the pass for a good 10 minutes. My husband's drink was also sitting on the corner of the counter and he had to go up after a while when we got the food to ask and the ditsy girl on the til was like 'sorry.' Funny thing is it wasn't even busy and the girl sat next to us got her drink way after she ate her food... My husband's fries tested refried and just overly salty. What took the cake was the disgusting eggs benedict. Look at the pictures. How the hell do you charge people £12 for what was soggy forkful of chicken, old warm jar style gherkins, plastic film microwaved 'hollandaise' and some disappointing eggs? Review aside those pictures should scream something is wrong in this branch and the way they serve people. I will never be coming here to eat ever again and maybe if it's convenient and it's scorching hot I may grab an iced drink but that's about it. I really wanted to like the place. Such a shame....
I really love their Spanish coffee with rose, and I definitely recommend it to others! Yesterday, my friend and I visited the café again, but we were disappointed to see that all the tables were dirty and cluttered with used dishes. There were plenty of empty tables, but nowhere to sit. In the end, I had to take a wet wipe and clean the table myself. I ordered a mojito cocktail and waffles with chocolate and strawberries. They were delicious! However, there’s also a confusing situation with the promotions in the app. I’ve been placing orders, but it doesn’t show in the tracker where it says you get a free coffee after 10 orders.
