A great little cafe in the heart of Edinburgh. Plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. I’ve been here four times over two trips to town, and what really makes or breaks a meal is the server. In two trips in two different years, we had the same server who struggled to understand my partner’s gluten allergy. Both times she took our orders she brought out a drink with a cookie in it because she forgot to tell the kitchen about the allergy, and once brought out regular bread because she forgot. This year the kitchen put stickers on the plates for the gluten allergy, which was a nice update. Despite this, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is cozy, and I’d come back 100 more times.
Great service, delicious food, drink, and dessert. Food and desserts are delicious and beautifully decorated. The price is reasonable, and the young lady who took care of us, as well as the gentleman were friendly, respectful, and very efficient in their service. Everything arrived on time even though the Cafe was busy on Christmas day. One of the best dining experiences we had in Edinburg. 100% recommend this place.
Found this cafe while looking for somewhere dog friendly, the staff were super friendly and so welcoming. Menu selection was very impressive, something for everyone. Once we finally decided what to have, the food was pretty quick to come and the quality was brilliant. Would highly recommend eating in here.
We popped in for brunch having seen Cafe Edinburgh on Instagram. It was everything I hoped and more. The staff were so nice and friendly. The decor inside was lovely and the menu had so much on it. We had a fry up and the poached eggs and salmon on sourdough. The food was presented perfectly with added touches like little flowers. I also had an earl grey tea which was served with rosemary and grapefruit - a really unique and special drink. It’s reasonably priced given its prime location and we feel like we’ve found one of our favourite spots. We can’t wait for our next visit!
had breakfast here and absolutely loved it! The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully served — the perfect way to start the day. The staff were very kind and friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, creating a lovely spot to enjoy a morning meal. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a great breakfast with warm service.
