Long term review: I’ve been working out with Caldwell Training for 18 months now. I started in a small group training class and then shifted to one-on-one private with Grady for the last year. As a lifetime athlete (ultra runner, rock climber), who never spent time in the gym previously, Grady provides a mix of consistency and variation to each day’s workout. Each day starts out with the question, “how’s the body feeling?” And Grady adjusts the workout to meet my daily needs. He has an indispensable amount of knowledge that allows him to address any issue my body is having. Slowly yet surely, I am starting to see great results in my strength, physique, and quality of life. In the gym it is rewarding to obtain new personal bests on the ski machine, pushups, etc. Caldwell Training offers the best gym experience that I was looking for in South Reno and beyond, in a small, intimate, community based environment. I highly recommend Caldwell Training for anyone needing the best personal training in town.
Grady and Travis are phenomenal. When I started I had back and hip pain. The kinstretch class and strength training combo has all but eliminated the minor aches I'd feel throughout the day in a couple months. They are incredibly knowledgeable and work with you and your body to come up with a plan. Highly recommended.
Caldwell Training is a great local small gym. My husband and I tried a Kinstretch class first and we were hooked! Grady has so much knowledge about the foundations of body movement that we continued onto personal training. Travis is an amazing trainer! He listens to goals that you want to achieve, if you have pain and how to alleviate that pain. Travis breaks it down to the basic small movements first then helps you grow and achieve heavier lifts with proper form! I can not say enough about this place or either trainer!
I’ve been training with Grady for over a year. As I’m no spring chicken, I’ve worked with a bunch of other trainers over the years and I can say without any reservation that Grady is the absolute best I’ve worked with. First of all, he *really* knows his stuff and applies the latest research, etc., to his efforts. He is a stickler for good form, which is essential to getting good results. He will work with you within the framework of your specific goals and help you strive to achieve them. His gym is well-equipped and a wonderful setting for focusing on getting you to the next level of your desired outcomes. On a more personal note, I suffered a significant shoulder injury while skiing and underwent rotator cuff surgery. Grady has helped me regain the flexibility of my shoulder, and probably improved since before my injury! My highest recommendation!!
I have lived all over the world and this training facility is by far the best. Grady is an exceptionally gifted fitness professional and I have not only gained in strength, mobility, and endurance but also the discipline has carried over to diet, nutrition and a high performance lifestyle. I highly recommend Caldwell training to anyone looking for results.
